A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week

This weeks project is about build an ad for a main page of a site
and a FPA in this manner as well.
Being mainly text based they are very good for SE pages.

A testimonial, meaning in this context, is to say something good about a site.
For this project it will involve several written testimonials, signed with thier area.
Such as "by J. Smith - Rockford, New York".
In each testimonial you have the site name linked with your code.
And eash need only be a few sentances long to get the glowing reccomendation across to the surfer.
You should have an odd shaped banner on one side of them.

You write these yourself and use fake names.
But don't get to spammy in them,
try to just be the person writing them when you do and it should work out fine for you.

The Project
For a main page ad,
Put an odd sided banner of the site you are promoting to the left.
In a table ad.
To the right you place 2 testimonials.
Since this ad will use up the 3 links most places allow,
a couple of BR's below the ad have your gallery links.

For the FPA do the same as in the main page one,
but use up to 5 testimonials with a couple beside
the odd banner and the rest below the tabled ad.
Use larger text if you need to to fill up page room
so they can't see the continue here link without scrolling down.

You can also place very small thumbnail of a face next to a testimonial for that real effect.
In some cases this has helped with click thrus, so consider it.

That's it, and once you start using testimonials you will get into the habit of it.
As they do add depth to a site and page and do get results.
