The Newbie Project Of the Week First things first These are personal templates for you to use to speed up your building. A template is a predesigned layout of a page. This will not take you long, but saves tons of time which makes you money. We are going to do a template for each of the below each day this week. Make one of each of these every day this next week. The Idea is to get you making your building faster and more profitable. No need to spend hours or days pouring over a site when you already have the framework ready to drop into place, edit, change a little in color, theme, title, etc....boom, New site/pages made. Why do you need more than one? Because submitting the same old boring thing will get you lower listings, if any. Doing at least 5 different templates will get you on a rotation. This means you rotate thru the templates when you use them. The last site will never look like the next one. And of course add to your template base as you go along for better flexabilty in submissions. While link list type sites like getting your submissions, they lose bookmarkers when they get 14 sites from you that look exactly the same except differnt content. Fresh stuff gets listed better and higher. They keep thier bookmarkers happier that way, so they build more traffic to go to your sites. Basic Template Layout Much easier than you think! Look at your pages. Pull up a pure word processor like NotePad. Now, view source on your pages. Grab everything from the body tag up and put it on the new template. Next, grab all the center and font tags you want to use most of the time. Leave some text and "a href" links in place so you simply drop in the new and edit. Place these on the new page where you want them. Take any tables that are going to be used commonly and add them as well. Copy your closing HTML tags to the new page and save. You will NOT submit these, these are for your own use. Number them acordingly. Next time you want to make that type of page, you pull that page up, Drop in the right/new info, and the page is made. This will speed things up ALOT. Havning pools of niche text and links for various niches you promote, on an html page, makes it easy to grab them to drop in and run with the page. No need to fuss around with text then, so more time is saved. Apply this basic template building to each of the types below. Free Site Get creative! Do unusual page layouts and not the stock run downs. Basic layout is an entrance page, a main page and galleries. Do a template for each of these types. Also do a template page for every AVS service you use. These should be very heavy on selling the AVS entrance for entering the site. In other words, include a sales pitch for the AVS on the templates. A different sales pitch for each days template you make. Reg, TGP Gallery Be Creative and sell! Make these look unique to you. Standard items to include: 10-15 pics, a bleeder link and 2 sponsor links. TGP2 Gallery Be Creative times 2! Make these look unique to you. Standard items to include: 5 pics, a bleeder link and 2 sponsor links. SE(Search Engine) Page This takes an unique approach to whichever SE your keying it for. Standard items: Include areas for 100+ words of keyeord heavy text, keyword text titles with header tags, and otheres depending on the SE you are using. That's it! Get started on this tomarrow or tonight. At the end of the week, you will have set yourself up to save tons of time. So you can build more and make more money! Special note: You can also do a page with nothing but tables you commonly use, even ones with recips, to speed things up in the dorp and paste part of the templates. Another one is a sponsors page where you have all your sponsors linked already with code to cut and paste at the drop of a hat. So go out and get these done and profit from being orginized! You can thrash in the wading pool or you can jump in to the reg. pool and keep up with your building. The choice is yours. This project gives you that choice and know how to do that. Voltar |
