Rave On


This Weeks NPOW will get you into the building mood.
Think of a "RAVE", a wild party/club.
Then you'll have a good clue as to what the illusion is in this NPOW.
Your going to create nightclub of sorts.
If you don't have a clue what one looks like,
Hit the Search engines and look up RAVE and some large town like LA or New York.
Then go view it. You will understand quickly then.
Your building a free site that is themed with various rooms
To match each area of the Rave.

First pick what types of 4 areas you want to represent.
Any 4 that you like will do, as long as they are "not" similar niches.
Choose from these below.

  • Bathrooms
  • The Bar
  • Upstairs
  • VIP
  • Couch
  • Dance floor
  • Back hall
  • Private Rooms
  • DJ's area
  • Hidden Camera
  • Bikers corner niche
  • Tats and Piercings area
  • Straightsville

    The point to the site is to get them into the site and talk to them
    and make it a personal, 1st Person site.
    In other words they enter the site, they walk in,
    they choose thier path and they feel they are there.

    With the 4 areas you choose being the 4 galleries.
    Each having around 5 pics each in them, matching the theme.
    But not normal galleries.
    You walk them thru with text.
    Tell them about every person(picture) and have that person talk to them as if they are there.
    You can have follow up pages for the conversataions, with yes and no answers leading to new pages.
    Get creative and away from the old molds.
    You can use this to wlk the surfer right to the sponsor and on in as a member.
    Works as well for AVS sites that you have you want to upsell.
    Lead them up and tell them if they want more of that person they have to go there.
    But have that person tell them. Be personal in it.
    Yes this is more than a basic free site.
    This is a free site you'll actually be promoting yourself from other places.
    This is a SALES SITE your building.
    Complete with filtering into the most liked areas from the main page.
    To the walk into a dark corner with a half naked horny drunk babe.

    Start this illusion at the front page...they are at the door trying to get in.
    Main page, you say something like...
    "Hi dude welcome to (your site name) Rave. Go grab you a brew, cop a squat, trash the bash, whatever you like!, Party one dude!"
    Then they are filtered into the areas/galleries.
    Match and interlace targeted sponsors through out the site.
    Stay low on banners and more on text.
    Use colorful matching backgrounds.
    Use the Illusion!
    Make the sale seem totaly natural, like tipping a waitress.
    Be orignal and don't forget to be first person.
    Total pics should be around 20.
    No more than 2 banners per page.
    If your creative enough you can put 30 sponsor links on a page,
    but if your not then better stick with about 3.
    In fact 3 is a good number for use with AVS entrances as well.

    Make every page SE ready.
    Submit it to the SE's and link lists
    As well as you should be doing several AVS entrances as well.
    Now go get crazy and Rave ON!

    And yes in the future you can use other types of events and places in this same manner.
