This weeks NPOW is about making a different type of site.
This weeks NPOW also involves a couple different ideas,
that you won't normally use on a free site.
But, they are in this one for a special reason or two.
As you will see below.

This weeks NPOW requires a competition of some sort.
The example I will use to explain it to you will be a race.
Pick one of your own or one from this list below.
  • Beauty Contest
  • Game Show
  • Any Adult Played Sport
  • Award Ceremony
  • Employee of the Month

    You need between 4 and 8 different models as contestants.
    Three to five full sized pics of each one.
    There is only one thumbnail needed for each model.
    The entrance page of this site is like any other normal site.
    The main page will have one thumbnail of each model/contestant,
    label them on the thumb or in text above or below them that is who they are.
    Give them a name and number.
    Each thumb leads so a full sized pic on HTML.
    This first full sized pic should be basicly clothed.
    The other pics in the series of each model
    should each show a bit more nudity with each pic showed.
    Each HTML page should have a text link above the pic,
    a button and text link beside the pic like we did a couple of NPOWs prior to this one.
    The cat NPOW.
    And a plain, not hidden, link to the next pic on HTML in the series
    at the bottom of the HTML pic page.

    Each bottom continue links on the HTML pic pages
    continue until the end of that models series of pics.
    On the last pic in the series,
    where you would have the continue link,
    you have a link that basicly says "Return to Main Page".

    This link does NOT lead to the main page though.
    This link goes to an option page.
    An option page is like an FPA, only its not an FPA.
    It's a focal point for several sources of traffic.
    It has NO graphics.
    It has a single, very large texted, text link on it.
    The text link is very short and very direct.
    Something like:
    "Are you sure you wouldn't like to check out 'sponsor name' while you are here.
    Click Here to enter them"
    And then below that link you have a "normal" sized text link that says
    "Click here to continue back to the main page".
    It's not an FPA, it's really a version of a funnel page.
    A bunch of sources pouring into a single fulcrum point.
    This allows you to control your traffic,
    and you'll find uses for this outside this project as well.

    For the second Voltar Twist
    On the main page you are going to tell the surfer to bookmark you.
    Yes, i said bookmark you, and yes, on the main page of the site.
    You also give them a reason for bookmarking you.
    The event you are creating the illusion of,
    is NOT taking place on the site you are making now.
    It is taking place on a future date, approximatly 20-30 days from your site being submited.
    You tell them that on such and such date,
    the link for the website of the event will be places in a special area you have there for it.
    Your current site is basicly the bio/info site.
    Sort of the preshow to the whole thing.
    Don't forget to actually add another site on the date given.
    But it can be one that does thru a FPA and such.
    Don't have consolses on the first page pff the site.
    Link lists might not mind that extra event site being added(except for a few screwballs).
    But if you have a link to a console hell then they would mind.
    Make sure you leave an extra unused link open for use on the main page.
    In other words, if the link list allows 3 sponsor links,
    only use two and save the third for the upcomiong event site's link.

    This might have been hard to track for those of you reading it.
    So here is an walk thru of one of those sites.
    Surfer enters site like normal, goes to main page.
    main page he has 4 racer babes to choose from.
    Each with a single thumbnail there for you to see them.
    The surfer clicks on the thumbnail and gets a full sized pic,
    link at bottom leads to the next pic in the series.
    last pic in the series and alink to the options page
    Options page links back to main page if sponsor not choosen.

    Remember to play up the theme of the site.
    Content does not have to include the event.
    Your webmastering creates that illusion for you.
    Use your imaginaiton on this one and on the event site
    which you will build at a future time.
