The KeyWatch NPOW A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week
This weeks NPOW is a different one.
It's not so much one for you to go out and do immediately,
But one you will do on an on going basis.
Sometimes, you may have noticed, that you just get "lucky" in some SE's with a new search term.
This comes from a keyword or phrases getting popular on a tv/radio ad,
current or upcoming events, TV shows, and or news topics.
When they get popular, it's sudden and almost like magic flow of SE traffic.
More times than not you arn't prepared for the traffic on the page you get it at.
And so you don't profit from it as you other words might have.
You may have seen this happen on your sites, but if you havn't, someday you will.
But it's NOT magic, and something you can actually control to a degree.
This project tells you how to do that, taking only 10 to 15 minutes a day.
First
You do need to have the work smarter not harder NPOW done to speed you up.
or it will take you just a bit longer, maybe 30 minutes a day.
The reason for using the work smarter not harder NPOW
is that this way you will already have the following items ready when you need then, right at your finger tips.
associated niche keywords
sponsor links
mouse overs
alt tags
text links
tables
page formating
SE submit links in target equals new windows
What you do Next
Go get you a small notepad that you can carry with you all the time.
Any where you listen to the radio or TV you will find a use for it.
There are those ads or events taht you hear over and over again that get into your brain.
They stay there and make you think of them, or sing them.
This catchy things, such as "Where's the Beef" from the old Wendys advertising.
A common life span of a ad is 3-6 months, but some are more than that.
This gives you time to get things in the SE's relating to those ads and profit from them.
You can NOT us full phrases as they are tradmarked and or owned by that company.
same thing with any company name logo or slogan.
All those are off limits for project, so do NOT use them.
BUT, single words or small phrases from them that are not any of the above
are usable and very profitable as people do type them in SEes looking for them.
The key is finding the new ads/upcoming things, and realizing it sticks with you and writing them down
in your notepad for your further use.
The reason for new ads, is that you need the time
for the SE's to list your pages as the ads grow in popularity.
Take those and make a webpage for them, ready for the SE's,
with a sponsor link(s) targeted to it and a link to your internal empire.
A-Z projects, hubs, and filter pages are great to link to from these.
We are dealing with high quality SE traffic,
so results are commonly very profitable.
Do 3 of these max a day.
And submit up to 3 of these a day to the SEes.
Sit back and hope you picked the right ads/events to key on.
Until they get listed in the SEes, you won't know.
Then you will know from the traffic you get.
Keep in mind that not all of them you do will be big winners.
But some very well could be.
Do this for 6 weeks, 7 days a week.
And it just might grow into your daily routine forever.
So if you do 3 a day, and since they are highly targeted to very topical items.
Lets say go for an average of 11 or 12 SE hits a day, per page.
If you submit to 11 or 12 SE's thats only 1 hit a day to each page.
So if you do this for the 6 weeks,
then you at the end of the next 4 to 6 weeks will be looking at
around 1,500 or so, additional SE hits a day.
All from ONE SE hit a day to each hot keyword topic page
from each SE you submitted your pages to, average.
Make this a part of your daily routine and you can easily see where
you can add some serious SE traffic coming as an alternate traffic source
and NOT be tied to any place demanding you bend over and let them break it off in you
by YOU making less money and providing more content for them.
You are in business, take the NPOWs and get free of the old routines
that cost you so much more than you realize.
Spoiled surfers are BAD for our industry.
Take this no content project and balance out some of your webmastering.
You're sure to make more money this way, than giving away more content.
And yes i ranted a little, but it IS one of the whys of doing this project.
Ok, to recap on what this project is.
You are going to write down in a notebook SE keywords
and phrases from your daily exposures to the outside world.
You make web pages featuring these keywords and phases.
Make sure they have your targeted sponsor(s) on them, and submit them to the SEes.
Advanced
Build your own link page for all of these pages, submit it to the SEes
Update it daily with the new ones, in targeted colored areas on it, for filtering purposes.
Build it into a huge mega FAQ type of site.
