A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week
This weeks project is a different way of building free sites.
Adding yet another tool to your webmaster toolbelt.
Have you ever taken or seen a guided tour?
One of those tours that have a guide that walks and talks
you thru the tour, giving you info and pointing things out for you.
Large places like museums and amusement parks have them.
Tour buses give them even.
Well now your websites can give them too.
That is how you are going to build this weeks project free site.
Page Layouts
You will use a solid backgound color.
White or black will do fine for this project.
On each page you will have a tri cell table.
In fact each page will be oly a tri cell table,
With everything on the page in the tri cell table.
And use a border=0 for the table so it's not visable.
a tri cell table looks like this:
(Note..i left it at border=1 so you could see it)

The exact widths are left to you to choose.
The middle cell should be a different color than the other two.
In this middle cell is where you, the tour guide
Will make your comments, info and point them to
everything from the site name to sponsor links in the other areas.
And everything in between.
You control the flow of the site, you can increase
the clicks to your sponsors because now the text you have
is being paid attention to, and following it is the next natural step
for the surfer to do. In short, you walk them right to to sponsor.
Remember that everything is inside of the tri cell tables on the site.
It is ok to use, in limited fashion, graphic arrows and hands.
Make sure to introduce yourself as thier guide thru the site,
on the top of the site entrance page.
Make sure to comment on everything there.
How much you comment on it is up to you.
The middle cell should be smaller than the others.
With the unique nature of the site, you will not
be using reg. banners, but instead will be using odd sized ones.
Total width of the tri cell table should not exceed 660.
Use exact numbers and NOT percentages setting cell sizes on tri cell tables.
Normal free site rules still apply.
20-30 pics, 3 links max per page, no blind links.
Also no links in the middle cell at all.
This breaks the mold on several levels.
This gets the attention on the middle text most of all.
Where normally it would be on the sales text/ad.
But if you do it right,
even lame ads can reap large rewards from this method.
And make sure you make each page SE ready, just like normal too.
