The Grouch (Part Two)
A VNWR XMAS Newbie Project Of the Week

A little recap for those doing this project.
We are still building for the Xmas season.
When doing this project make sure you place some holiday look,
include small graphics, keywords, colors, or backgrounds on it.
Get into the niche and holiday feel of it.
In this project we will be building one free site each.
This includes one FPA whos continue link goes to your no recip site entrance.
This is part 2 of 2 for this project.

This weeks job is where you get down to work.
Make sure you get search engine submissions done by Sunday of this week.
For whatever site you build here.
We are targeting for the for the Xmas season listings.

The Project
You will use the Basic Free Site NPOW for your sites.
More or less, but you have freedom to build in the style that you do best, just use that as a guideline.
As well as a FPA that leads to a no recip entrance of that site.
Also a link back to the hub on the entrance and last gallery page on the site.

You can call it the Grouch's Xmas Home Page when linking back to it.
Don't go there yet, it's not up but will be shortly. I'll post it in the VWNR board when it is.
It boils down to this, you all will build Grouch sites and they will all be linked thru a central Hub site.
I'll build the hub site and place the sites on it.
Note that "Grouch" is a play on the "Grinch".
The theme will be that "Grouch" steals the niches so there is no niche fun for Xmas.
He gets his hard-on/heart back and builds the hub to show everyone where they all are.
OK, you get the basic theme of it now.
Your sites should follow that theme.

Theme info
Each site needs to be personal, first person.
You are the grouch when you build your site.
You are showiing them the wonders and merriment that creates a hard on in that niche.
So you talk to them and reccommend your sites sponsors,
tell them how cool they are, walk them right to them.
But also talk about the niche and how it turned you on and gave you back the holiday spirit with a big woody!
It's alright for each of these sites to say that, more or less, becasue
a surfer most likely won't see but one or two of them, so the illusion stays intact.

Some basic rules
*All sites are permanent and you do not change them.
*No Free hosted sites, must be on your domain on your hosting.
*No consoles.
*20-30 thumbed pics.
*You will be expected to mirror the entrance page a min. of three times
for 6-9 recips on each mirrored entrance.
*Follow the guidelines in the basic free site NPOW.
*You will be expected to submit these to at least 20 SE's as well.

What you do now
Below is a list of niches and the people doing them.
Get with the person(s) in that niche with you today or tomorrow.
Between the group of you in that niche, you decide whos doing what subniche of that niche.
Each site needs to be a subniche of the major niche.
This targets the traffic better and allows you to use sponsors in a more targeted manner.
This equals better signups for you.
This should not be a problem from the people I see doing it.
But if you need help let me know and i'll pull them from a hat or something.
Also if you do not have the persons email from that niche, also email asking for it.
That is the reason everyone provided me an email address when they said they would do it.
By Friday at midnight I need everyones site FPA addresses and site names(and themes) emailed to me,
so i can get them on the hub and the hub submitted to the SE's as well.
You also need to let the people in the same niche as you know this info as well.
Because you get to interlink between each other within the niche.
I suggest doing it one of two ways.
1. You do it like you would your own sites in the triples project.
2. You do it like an old fashioned link trade where you say here is also my friends site named such and such for such and such sub niche.
Which ever way you choose to do it is fine with me,
as long as they are interlinked you will be helping each other and yourselfs out.
This should be done on the front entrances(all of them) and the last gallery of each site.
Your site does not have to be finished on that day, but an FPA page needs to be there for the spiders to find.
Once your site is done and interlinking in place, on saturday or before if all in your niche are done,
submit it to the link lists, the SE's and let it roll!
