Fake It, a NPOW
A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week


This weeks NPOW takes advantage of something that is showing up more and more.
These are these ranking tables, often showing sponsors.
Several companies do these,
and this is no direct comment on any of them in paticular.
For various reasons you see these from time to time.
None of which I trust to be accurate, or honest,
and at the worst total scams designed to fool webmasters.
Knowing that they are open to manually manipulating,
and the people behind some of them,
I would suggest anything you read in them, take with a HUGE grain of salt.
What we are doing in our project, is making fake sponsor stats for surfers.
These will be an FPA, made just for it.
You will be suprised at how well surfers target and filter themselves.

First, pick a niche you have 10 sponsors paysites for.
So this will be for larger niches, and not micro/sub niches.
But micro/sub niches can be part of the over all niche you choose.

Now you will list these in a table.
Ranking them 1 thru ten.
With various items checked in the table, like a database listing.
Do this will almost all text.
It will be better for the search engines that way.

The questions you answer are up to you of course.
Some of the questions should cover these items.
  • Cost(free trials at the bottom)
  • Value
  • Average member stay
  • Picture quality
  • Movie quality
  • Picture amount
  • Movie amount
  • Chat
  • steaming video
  • web cams
  • unique content
  • Ease to use
  • Conversion ratios

    Do use true facts about the sponsors sites.
    But you can make up fake numbers for conversions and such.
    This will make it look not so much the ad, and allow the natural
    tendances for poking around to go into effect on the surfer.
    So make sure the sites name is linked with your sponsor code.
    Make all these links target="_new".
    Surfers often will want to look at more than one of these.

    If you don't have enough sponsors in a niche,
    Fake it even more.
    Make fake paysite links lower in your list of 10.
    Which you should link to your niche targeted CJ's(circle jerks/multi console popping).

    Below this top ten table you have the continue here link.
    Above this table you should have a nice bold name of the page,
    and a little blub of text for the surfer illusion.
    Something about how the net is here to present them the surfer with sponsors,
    so you have kept a ranking of the best sites in the niche you picked.
    That type of thing, so you give them a reason why its there and why to check them out.
    Giving the surfer choices from the illusion of goodness of your heart
    can create quite the firestorm of sponsor clicks for you.
    So take your time and get it sounding convencing to the surfer.

    Make sure these pages are SE ready, and submit them to the SE's as well.
    This is a Unique way of making a FPA.
    This will be something they have never been hit this way before.
    As such you could do very well for yourself by doing this project.
