The E-zine Hub
A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week
This weeks NPOW goes into the realm of non clean sites.
You won't be submitting this one to link lists.
You link to it from your own sites and tgp galleries like you would any other hub.
This project deals with it being a multi niche hub,
But you can also do it for a single niche with it's subniches if you would like to.
An E-Zine is an online magazine. Paysites for the most part follow this model to some degree.
An example would be Hustler, they have a magazine that is widely purcashed by subscription.
They also have a online Hustler, which is purchased by monthly subscription.
While not in the strictest form a online magazine, you get the idea i'm presenting.
Ok, paysites can be considered online E-zines, so now what?
This is where I tell you this project isn't for the raw newbie.
To do this project you need to be able to do some text based graphic work
And know how to table without leaving a border.
Nested tables are possible, that part of the design is where your imaginations come in at.
With that out of the way, here is the project.
Do you all remember getting those lickable magazine stamps,
that come in a big page of them and you mail off a card
with the ones you want you want to recieve at some discount price.
You are going to reproduce that big page of stamps on a hub site.
You are going to take a bunch of your sponsors,
make white buttons with text on them that look like those stamps.
Make sure you have the special prices and such on them in a bright color to get noticed.
You present each sponsor as an E-zine on it's own stamp.
You have two options in linking from the E-zine hub.
1. Direct to the sponsor.
2. To an FPA or MFPA of the sponsor.
(continue link goes back to the hub and FPA exit console reloads the E-zine hub.)
Under each sponsor stamp, have a small "Join Now" link.
If possible, as some sponsors have this option, link this directly to the join page.
You have 3 options of how to present the sponsor stamps.
1. Randomly inserted into the page of stamps.
I suggest having all sites in the same niche in like lightly colored cells around the page.
You can do this cell coloring identifing method for both 1 and 2 options.
2. Make each horizontal row of the stamp hub by trial price.
I highly suggest you place the free ones at the bottom with this method.
Or else none of the others may be seen,
once you present something free it's hard to sell something at a price.
3. Make one of these hubs for each large sponsor you promote and one for all the smaller ones.
4. Use all your sponsors, and the main hub page becomes an entrance page,
With stamps for each niche linked a page with the sponsor stamps that match the niche.
Be sure to make these SE ready and submit them to at least 20 SE's.
Each stamp should be all the same size as the others.
Each stamp should be between 100x100 min. and 150x150 max.
Here is an "rough" example of a stamp for you.
Pick your options from those above and get creative.
The results can also tell you niches you don't otherwise promote,
that are making money and you should consider promoting, as well.
