A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week

Everyone knows what classified ads are.
If you don't open up you local newspaper.
In the back of it all those columns of catagorized ads,
those are the classified ads.

This weeks project is to build,
using simple tables, your own classifieds page.
This of course will have a twist on it to promote better sales.
So lets get started.

Basics
There are some basics of this that should be true for everyones page.
Each page should be the basic black and white like a newspaper.
Each one will have sections for different niches.
I suggest using a min. of 5 niches to how many you want to do.
Use what ever niches you make sales with, or new ones you want to try out.
Each ad in the classifieds are text only, no banners or buttons.
Each page should have a complete mouseover on it, so no codes are seen.
You do NOT submit this to any place excpet spider search engines.
You alone link to it via bleeder links from your other traffic sources.
Link to this page from your hubs, sites and tgps pages.
Be specific in the linking that the surfer is going to another site.
You may promote sponsors, AVS entrances and tours,
hard items like actual sextoys, legal drugs and such.
This project is NOT limited to adult only.
It can be used for non adult items as well, or for cross promoting too.
An exit console should be used as well.
This can be to a sponsor or more of your internal structures.

Colors
Everything should be black and white.
Except for in each section you should have a small header cell
that is a unique color to it and states the niche the ads are below it.
The will assist in more quickly filtering the traffic.
Once they see the niche they like the best, they will go striaght to it.

The Ads
Ads are simple to make.
A short direct text blurb about the site or product,
Followed by a link to them.
Use different lengths of ads,
some with only a couple lines some with up to 20 lines.
This builds the illusion that its a real classifieds page and not a trap page.
Do NOT make it all uninform lengths on the ads.
Real classifieds don't look that way, so yours shouldn't either.
In each niche area you should have a min. of 3 ads.
I highly suggest having 3 columns of ads on the page.

So far it sounds like a great filter page.
But we go further and better still yet.
To spur them onto going and buying memberships.
And yes you may give away free memberships,
but use them at the bottom of the page of course,
after you present items for sale.

The first twist is to have some ads that say SOLD on them with no links.
But sounding liek they got a really great deal,
just one small notch above or below what you have in your ads already.
You see it's always much easier for people to do something,
after they think others have already and its ok to do it.
Basic human nature to take into account when building once again.

The second twist is that at the bottom of the page.
You have a link to the left that says "Previous Classified Page"
And one to the right that says "Next Classified Page"
Link both to a Circle Jerk or console popping site.
They are the catch all links after you presented them with all your targeted ads.
Bounce them around, and try to get some signups or more traffic back for them.

The third twist, is simple.
You just made a heck of a fast loading console to pop on other things for the future.
Keep that in mind when building internal structures, hubs and such.
Give your classidifeds a name, but do not use a name of a real newspaper.
This will give you something to use when linking to it.
Make sure its search engine friendly and submit to at least 20 spider SE's.
Link it up from you own stuff and you are good to go!
