Newbie Project of the Week Brighten Up! Welcome to this weeks NPOW We have in the past couple of months gotten our late winter projects done, If Not then look outside, its here and you better hump it. So we will be doing a summer project this week A "Wish for Summer" project, actually. We are going to brighten things up on your sites. This gives cabin fever surfers cheer and we use it as a sales tool :) Use this same techique on al your sites and galleries. But for this project we will be making a simple free site with a bright illusion to it and some avs entrances like normal. Pick one of these types of sites to make: Bikini Outdoor Sports Picnic Sex Outdoor Nudity Outdoor Voyeurism Car Babes Outdoor Pissing Nude Beach Normal layout for a free site would include: approx. 20 thumbnailed pics. Entrance page thats mirrored several times for several sets of 6-9 recips. Also several AVS entrances as well. Everything is search engine(SE) ready and will be submited to them. Main page and a couple of gallery pages. Your unique style to make it all yours. This project is a simple as using a different type of background. Doing this will give it a more unique feel and if done right brighten the place up for better listings. And it also looks very professional for reviewed SE listings. This background you are going to make should be bright and cheerful. Like the background on this page we are on now. To make this background you should follow these simple steps. First, with any graphic program you have, make a blank image that is 10 to 15 pixels wide and 700 pixels long. Add in bright color areas where your logos and special links will be. Play with it and tweek it to fit if need be. Or even nice bright gradiant colors like on this page will work great. You'll find you can do thousands of variations with these. Small picture inserts on these Hbar backgrounds can work great for themed sites. Save as a .jpg file and put in the directory/folder of the site. In you BODY tag you insert background="jpgname.jpg" Putting in your images name of course. These should typically be 2k to 4k each. and are very fast loading. You can use this entire theme thru the whole site or create new ones to match each page of the site. But i suggest you come up with one for the entire site for this project. Now go get creative and brighen up your next sites to pull those surfers out of thier cabin fevers. Voltar
