Basic TGP Gallery Building

Remember to read and follow all the rules of the TGP's your submiting
These galleries to. Build good clean and unique looking TGP galleries
and you can get some decent listings and make some decent sales.
TGP=Thumbnail Gallery Post
A gallery is a page with thumbnails linking to larger pics.
Sometimes to HTML pages with the large pic on it,
but for this one its linking directly to the full sized picture.
Follow the below steps in order to make your first TGP Gallery.

  • Choose your sponsors site your going to promote.

  • Take that tour of the sponsors site. Write down some text link thoughts.

  • Choose your content to use on that gallery. Think of the sponsors tour.

  • Thumbnail and optimze 10-16 pics(depends on the places your submitting it to)

  • Upload content in a hotlink protected directory on your server.

  • Go to the sponsor. Grab one banner, under 25k. Must match the content, only more compelling.

  • Layout your gallery in HTML. (More on that below)

  • Now make copies of the gallery. (Start off with 5 and do more next time)

  • Add 3-4 recips to different TGPs on each copy. At the top of the page.

  • Upload HTML pages and banner to a different directory than what the pics are in.

  • Gather all your gallery info on a notepad page and leave it open, minimized.

  • Submit the galleries to the places you have recips for, This is where you cut and paste the info from the notepage page.

  • Now submit the orignal to the no recip TGPs. Also to the SE's for extra traffic


    To thumbnail and optimize your pics, go to http://www.midnightblue.com
    and grab the shareware version of SuperJPG. Later you should register it.
    Make teh thumbnails around 3k each and teh size of them should be betwen 100 x 100 and 120 x 120.
    Full sized pics should be under 30k. And 450-520 on the longest side.

    LAYOUT
    This is very easy for a basic gallery.
    First thing you do is present your sponsor.
    This is where you use your banner with linked some short sales text around it.
    Then 4-5 thumbnails
    Then a text link to the sponsor. Approx. 3-4 lines of sales text.
    Another 4-5 thumbnails
    The rest of the thumbnails
    A NON Blind link at the bottom to a filter page or internal empire if you have one.
    If you don't you'll want to build one shortly.

    Word of note, try to stay with medium to small TGP's until you egt the hang of TGPing.
    Once you get where you can make sales, then move up to the larger ones.
    No consoles, all thumbs link to pics, read the TGPs rules.
