The Easy Art of AVS doorway making NPOW
A VNWR Newbie Project Of the Week

This weeks NPOW is to help you build
mirrored non exclusive AVS entrance pages on your free sites.
*Choose an AVS service.
If you do not know what one is, please read the Newbie Quick Start Guide
I have it explained in there as to what one is and why they are good to use.
Below I walk you thru the process so it'll make it easy for you to start using them.

*You sign up to an AVS as a webmaster,
like you would any sponsor, go to the webmaster area/link there.
each avs has a webmaster area and signup area for webmasters.

*Build your free sites like normal,
of course reading the AVS rules,
as each one differs on content requirements and such,
and i've found them all to answer questions you have fairly quickly.
So emailing and asking anything you are unsure of is fine.

Once you signup with the AVS service as a webmaster,
then you build your free sites, then you,
*mirror the no recip. entrance.
Same title, name and such, as you have for your no recip. entrance.
Adding the AVSes name to the keywords is a good thing to also do for AVS mirrored entrances.

*Have an entrance ready and in notepad so you can edit it.
Remember, this is a copy of your no recip entrance,
the mirrored AVS entrance mentioned above.

*Go to the AVS sites webmaster area, and log in.

*They will have a link for add a new site, in thier webmasters area.
Click this link.

You'll then be asked:
-the sites name(use the same name as you did on the free entrance)
-the entrance url..(put down what you will be calling the entrance..in a full absolute url..
your-domainname.com/sitename/entrancepagename.html
it's ok for it not to be there yet, as you will see..)
-The niches it covers(usually 2-3 so you get multi listings on thier own list)
-A description of the site and content..theme..
-The main url for content.
This is your main page URL so members of the AVS can enter and go there.
This is the same main page that your no recip entrance goes to.

And usually that's about all you'll need to know/put in there.

*You then hit enter/submit once this page is filled out.

*The AVS then gives you a cut and paste code(often times emailing it to you as well)
to put on your AVS entrance page.
This is in place of where you have an enter link to the main page, on your no recip page.

*Above this AVS code(commonly called an AVS table or AVS entrance table),
it's helpful to place a small bit of test encouraging the surfer to join the AVS
and get tons of other stuff from the AVS that they offer, and your hot site as well.

*Save it as the AVS entrance page you told the AVS it would be called.

*Upload this page to your server
and follow directions you get there at the AVS and/or in an email from the AVS,
which will in most cases require you to email them back saying
the entrance up with the ID code of the site in the email.

*With in 24-72 hours in most cases
you'll get a email response saying they have added your site to thier avs.

*Submit to SE's and if you like send some traffic to it by listing it on your internal pages
and various other things you do for generating traffic.
This can include recips to link sites that allow AVS entrances.
But you may only list a single avs entrance at a link list or dmoz.
When adding other AVS entrances,
you can "not" submit those to sites who already have that site listed thru another doorway.

Note: to always read the AVS rules and follow them.

This can bring you traffic that is highly prequalified targeted quality traffic.
Meaning they have credit cards and will pull them out for porn.
You got to love that in a surfer!
