Yea, Mr.Yum. I started promoting one site last dec or jan when it first hit the web.. anyway, they changed cc proccessors in Feb. I still have a couple of those members--- 12 months later. Been reinstalling software and tuning out the box, getting it back to where it was performancewise... also taking the opportunity to clean clean clean... capturing all sorts of disk space back.... One advantage of wiping the disk clean.... All my 30 day free trial copies of software are giving me back the full 30 days :) Glad SHE (the one with the legal teen titties, just wondering if the rest of her is ... or not ...;p ) liked the earrings ... Essentially a Weekender, as implied, covers the boards over the weekend. :-) Additionally, though, Weekenders also serve as "subs" when a Regular (weekly/fuller-time) reveiwer is out sick, needs a day off, goes to a convention, yadda yadda. And they get extra money for subbing. Doesn't pay a lot, but then it's not a lot of work. After two-and-a-half years, it seems the payment is well equal to the work time expended. We also promote from within! Which is exactly how we have this opening; someone left, a Weekender moved up to being a Regular, spot open now for that Weekender. :-) If interested, hit me up fast, and we'll give you a quickie test. Also, and many can attest to this, we never throw your emails away. If not picked this time, many a reviewer has been contacted three, five, eight months later and then hired. In conclusion, want a little extra money and a toehold in a company that promotes from within, has many other projects than only AOE, and is expected to triple in growth by the end of this year, e-me right now. Anyway, it must be something in the air..... Yesterday, about midday, I had my first freeze up ever on my home server (actually first unaccounted for freeze up, other times, I have known exactly why the puter died, usually cause I was doing the killing...) Anyway, last night I noticed that it was only recognizing one CD drive (there are 2 installed)... So, I started to investigate, couldnt find anything wrong, so proceeded to try to get the frigging thing to detect the 2nd drive (it is my R/w drive, need it for backups)... So, it goes through it's detect sequence, doesn't find it, I go for the cancel button (1 am, fuzzy eyeballs) instead pluck the "Finish" button... The puter then informs me that it is uninstalling my BIOS and installing an ACPI Power management system or some such.... I was like the slow mo guy in the movies.... a prolonged NOOOOOOOOOOOOO coming out of my mouth as I desperately try to kill the self destruct sequence with only a second left..... No good.... The damn thing wiped out everything... PCI plugs into BIOS, so no PCI handlers.. Nada, Nothing.... Long story short.... I spend most of the night reconfiguring and playing with settings trying to get things up and running.... Finally, at 8 this morning, ended up reformatting and reinstalling from scratch... I didnt lose any data (except my email), had mirrored copies of everything, but had to strip out all the cards and reinstall them one at a time.... Now running barebones, but running..... Worst part is the email... Lost a bunch a bunch a good stuff there..... Badbee, I too use yellow and lime on black backgrounds. Red is good an a white background in small amounts... otherwise it gives a pink look. I like blue on white backgrounds.
