and on that note... newbies do not link to FPAS..link to the sponsors...later on after you learn and get a bit of seasoning under your blets you will learn how not to get in trouble with various ways of doing this..if you choose to then...but as a newbie..link direct..later on in the learning curve you can find other things that work too.. build safe..as there are some pitfalls and sponsors who do NOT allow their banners to be liked to anything but them...in time and experince you will learn things.. but if you are a new newbie..do not start off except linking directly to the sponsor.. sevice announcement for brand new newbies..over.. Voltar, I think it depends on the webmaster possible even the category/niche that you are targeting.. I have found that going through an fpa works well for me.. If they don't like my sponsor they usually go somewhere else... lol I have about 10 fpas from that one fpa - if its followed through lol and along the way small hubs for those niches... Sarettah, don't believe in using blind links lol especially when I can use an fpa to do my work for me :) Massman - with a banner link - you can send the surfer from that link to an fpa which is an upsell to your sponsor... you can give them more info about the sponsor on that page... however you can also give them other choices to other sponsor featuring the same niche or a subniche on that fpa - I love fpas you can do so much with them... remember once the surfer has clicked from your banner and goes straight through to the sponsor, he is gone, you cant do anything else with him.. on that fpa he has a choice - :) Marie (VNWR Community Member) Message # 72636 139.134.58.153 Fri Dec 6 20:52:44 2002 B11

massman...some people like to send traffic to a FPA or MFPA (see NPOW on how to do these) first.. i personally do not think that method works as well..and find a higher success rate going straight to sponsors..once a sponosrs banner or link has been clicked.. ther are good arguements for doing it with the fpa..but in use they don't work as well in my experiences..especially for sponsors where you get paid for sales on exit consoles.. Never a dull moment here.... We live on a hill and our driveway is pretty steep. Hubby just came and parked my car, (a ford expedition)in the driveway.
