Happy Holidays to all, and with the holidays comes a busy season of traffic, sales, family, recommitments, and cheer. With all the business of the season, here is a small project that will not take you long, but is targeted to make you money. We are going to do a toon site, gallery, and SE page, starting the new year off right with fresh happy toon traffic.

  • Choose the sponsors you're going to promote. Pick sponsors from VNWR that offer toon sites, you'll need two to promote for this project.
  • Take the tour of the sponsors' site. Write down some text link thoughts.
  • Choose your content to use on that gallery and site. Think of the sponsors tours.
  • Thumbnail and optimize 20-30 toon pics (depends on the where you are submitting).
  • Upload content into a hotlink protected directory on your server.
  • Go to the sponsor. Grab one banner, under 25k. It must match the content, only more compelling.
  • Build a basic site; 4 pages (entrance, main, 2 galleries), and 4 mirrored entrances.
  • Make copies of the galleries. (Start off with 5 and do more next time).
  • Add 3-4 recips to different TGPs on each copy, at the top of the page.
  • Upload the HTML pages and banners to a different directory than where the pics are.
  • Now, use the same layout, but use only 5 pics on the page. Your making TGP2 galleries here, so you'll have 4-6 different galleries very quickly this way.
  • Submit the galleries to the places you have recips for, and the no recip ones to the no recip places.
  • Now, submit the originals to the SE's for extra traffic.

    Make the thumbs 125 x 125 and the full sized pics approx. 500 on the longest side. Special Note: do NOT make the site black. Make it pastel and toon colors. Make it a happy, fun looking site and follow thru with color combos. Use one main sponsor at the top and main places on your pages, and a second sponsor as the lower one on the pages, a catch-all type of site for you.

    Special
    Take existing sites and places where you have traffic flowing and link to this sites' clean, no recip entrance, thru a toon FPA of course. Make the links say something like, "its hot toons super naughty that the Sunday comics would never be like", that sort of thing. This gets your extra traffic targeted into your site and thru 3 ad pages before they even get to content. And its targeted traffic too! Yummy!!

    At the bottom of the galleries, link to the toon FPA that leads to your site, again 3 pages of ads for them to go thru, and so what if its the same content! What are they going to do get mad and go to the sponsor looking for more? BINGO!! See told you a fun little project to start the year off with. Have an exit console on the toon FPA to the toon sponsor.
    That's it!

    Get started on this new year by launching this project and getting different traffic into your system. Toon traffic does good and can be pulled from various places. After all, who didn't read the funnies growing up!
