What is Internext?
Internext, formally known as IA2000 is the world's largest adult internet tradeshow and is truly a show for ALL webmasters. It provides a great chance to finally meet other webmasters face to face and to network in person rather than our typical emails, instant messages, and board postings

Why go to a show?
To get to know your sponsors, content providers and other webmasters that you have networked with but never met. Take the time to sit down with your sponsors for five minutes it's sure to make a difference in your bottom line. Sit down with some content providers and you might get a few special deals. And meet with other webmasters you never know what you'll pick up that might make a big difference in your bottom line, whether it be traffic source tips, new ways to set up pages, new software you had not heard of, the learning is limitless.

Before you go, you should make a list of your sponsors that you would like to meet and a list of seminars you would like to attend.

What will your sponsors be doing at the show?
The majority of them will be working in their booth; so keep in mind that your sponsors will be in different places on the show floor. The majority of the sponsors have activities going on in their booths, and this is a great way to meet other webmasters and get to know your sponsor. Sponsor marketing teams have good ideas for you and will let you know about new things in their programs.

"If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before."
Steven Wright

Here is a list of questions you should ask:

  • How do I make my site more profitable?
  • What marketing tools should I use?
  • What is new? And what is coming?
  • What should I do to get prepared for the
         next year?
  • What is the next level?

Even if you don't have specific questions, it's a great idea just to stop by and say "hello"!

At Internext there are many seminars for you to learn more about different areas of the business make a list of the ones you want to be sure to not miss. The majority of the speakers are talented in multiple areas, so be sure to take notes and if you have additional questions, ask then at the end of the seminar (there is usually a question and answer period) or find out where you might meet up with the speakers at later times - - most are found on the show floor throughout the different days of the show. Seminars are also a great place for networking

So as you can tell after reading this article, the show is the place to be! The important part is being there and "having fun"!!! But remember networking is your friend.
