Mirror the Flow

There is a general natural progression to adult webmastering and the development of ones online empire. We all pretty much start at meager beginnings and grow as much as we can in all aspects of the business of selling people on sponsors. But sometimes it`s not so clear what our next move should be. What we should build next. What avenue to venture down in the name of expansion.

As always it is best to guage your strengths and weaknesses and go accordingly in learning in new or existing areas of your knowledge and execution of existing knowledge. So you may be inclined to ask yourself "What do I know?" .

One thing we do know is there is a progression in surfers habits and flow that almost mirrors a possible timeline if you will for us to follow. To break it down simply. A surfer finds a starting point either through a search engine or link list, tgp or other link type site in most cases. They will find something that catches thier eye and enter a gallery or site. They may pass it up to click on a bleeder link which takes them through a full page ad and if they get by that onto possibly a hub or filter page. Either of these might be specifically niche orientated and narrows down a prospective "buyer". The hopeful next step is that they click to a sponsor and get sold lock stock and barrel on the tour and sign up then and there to forever more enjoy quality porn with a percentage in your favor!

So how does this tell us anything. I think it`s pretty obvious. From a builders standpoint we crank out free sites and or galleries to start laying an empires foundation. So if these types of pages are the concrete then hubs and filter pages are the rebar that keeps it all together. They play big roll in filtering traffic within your own realm and distanced by full page ads from anything anyone links to they are truly YOUR pages! You want to try out a new sponsor site just pop a link in your hub. If it does`nt pan out change it for another. You won`t be banning yourself for changing things.

Now that we have filtered the surfer moves onto a sponsor which is the end of the line as far as we are concerned aside from prospects of long term recurring money. But it all starts with a search and ends at a sponsor.

You as a webmaster start with a site or gallery. One day down the road you may be the sponsor! But there is a long road in between of learning all the different aspects of this business and aspiring to master one or a few. Follow the progression of a surfer for your guidance. Grow your empire with a constant flow of these sites and galleries and bolster it with hubs to connect them and filter pages to compliment them. In this fashion you can keep escaping surfers with you longer. You may then progress to making some fake tgp`s or even make the jump to running a tgp, toplist or link list. This builds more necessary skills as well as increases potential for earnings. Down the road from now you may have amassed enough content or had such success you are ready to start a paysite or affiliate program of your own. Yes it sounds like a tall order but we all start somewhere.

But we don`t all end in the same place that`s for sure! Some of us won`t make it in this business and others will flourish. Many will remain steady builders of sites and galleries and others will go on the paysite route. There are many other branches that we can take also such as graphics and tour design or employment with other webmasters, sponsors or related companies. It` s a wide web as they say and the possibilities remain open to those that drive hard!

I`ve written this to just give a general idea of where your building is or may be taking you. Another bunch of words that you might find some clarity in as to your course of action. And of course don`t rush to the levels your not ready for yet. The point really is to not disregard any parts of the formula. Become aware of each aspect of what we do. They are the little dots that get connected along the way. The ones that make things click for you and the ones that eventually make your surfers click for you.

Now get behind that keyboard and drive!

Until next time...have a good one!
