This weeks project is a simple one. Keeping in mind that it is the holiday season and everyone has get togethers and family time pressures this time of year. But one that can help you increase your income.

The Project
We have 5 senses that we use in every day life. Sight, Sound, Touch, Smell, and Taste. Web page show and use at the most 2 of these 5. Site and Sound. Your Project this week is to use a third sense, the sense of Smell in your web pages of a site or gallery. The sense of smell is one of the strongest senses we take for granted. And this you can use to connect your sites illusions and ads to the surfer as he goes thru your sites.

Nope, no scratch and sniff websites yet, sorry. But there are other ways to make that very important connection between the surfer's mind and your sales items. Make that connection and you will see an increase in sales and clicks to your sponsors. The way I want you to use smell on a website or gallery is as follows. Tell them how the model smelled. Make it descriptive and common. you want it a common smell so you connect to more surfers.

An example or two of how smells trigger things in your mind.
- the smell of an old musty book
- the smell of soap was fresh on her wet skin
- the tar smell of a freshly paved road hovered in the air

You see, in very short phrases, I touched and gave many of you mental pictures And had you remember how those smelled as well. This forged a mental bond with what I'm telling you and your mind, it's memories. Make that type of connection with the surfers on your sites, And you should drasticly increase your sales as well.

To recap this weeks project for you. Make a standard free site or TGP/TGP2 gallery, Use smell as one of the tools in your sales text on it. Pick a common good smell and tie it in with the niche and illusion of your site or page. And you find you have yet another sales tool in your webmaster bag of tricks.
