It's that time of year already, Thanksgiving … seems like it gets here faster every year. Last year I wrote an article for the DFN called "Wingnut Gives Thanks" thanking all of the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of working with via the DFN and VNWR. This year I'm writing the Thanksgiving article again; in a strange way it's still my way of saying thanks.

I'd need a whole issue to really give thanks to all those folks that have helped me along this past year. I'll try to spare you all the sappy stuff :).

Mrs. Wing my partner in life, my best friend, "one of the buds", the coolest person I know, Thank You! Without your never-ending support and love I'd have tossed in the towel by now. Without such a great partner I'd be half the person I am today! Te Sakam Mnogu!

Voltar you picked me out of the crowd and presented me with the fabulous opportunity of working on the DFN Weekly from the ground up, Thank You! I never really thought of myself as someone who could express themselves with words, until I started working on the DFN weekly. In fact I hated writing before, and now I actually enjoy it and have improved in my style of writing. I'll make sure to give thanks to you in my first book!

Pastaboy the Italian Stallion! My partner in crime, the "house" is going to rock and roll, and I'm sure there will be more houses to build. It's been a rough year for us both, and still some rough road ahead, but we will keep on paving. When we are old and gray we will kick back and reminisce about all this. Raising my glass to you … Thank You!

Jojasa you put your blood sweat and tears into the DFN for over a year and it was a great opportunity to be able to work with you. You also showed this ole Vanilla boy a thing or two about Kinky folks, most importantly that they have hearts of gold. Thank You!

Old Tom what can I say to you? I mean you are the guy that put the "Cool" back into being a computer geek! You always seem to have the knack for pushing and pointing in the proper direction and forcing me to learn "enough" to be almost self-sufficient in techy land. Thank You!

Merlin the wizard of servers! One of the best moves I've ever made was in trusting my dedicated server to your capable hands. Thanks for taking care of one part of the many stresses of an adult webmaster's life. Thank You!

There have been so many people that have been a part of the DFN this year and I want to thank each and every one of you for your contributions. It is all of you that make the DFN the "Only E-zine You Need"! Thank You!

One of Voltar's great sayings on the board is "The net ebbs and flows and we must change with it"; this can also be applied to one's life outside of the Internet. Life changes and we must all deal with it and roll along with the changes. My life outside of the DFN and VNWR has ebbed and flowed so as a result I must also change with it.

The DFN has been a part of my life for the past year and half if you count those first few days in a hotel in Vegas up until this issue. If I can borrow a line from the Lord of The Rings, "My Precious" has always been there, calling me to it, it wants to be published. It has had that much of an impact on me. With that said and with great pain I must pass on the torch of the DFN Editor. Changes in my day job will prevent me from dedicating the required time to publish the DFN and to do it "justice".

Magus has accepted the position of the Editor of the DFN Weekly. Magus will continue to provide you with the same great DFN weekly you have come to enjoy. Join me in congratulating him on the position and continue to support Magus and the DFN weekly. I'll still be around and will see you all on the boards! Thank You All!
