Gobble Gobble!!!

Happy Thanksgiving wishes go out from me to all of you. With tomorrow being turkey day, your surfers may well be up in the evening, as well as the day after. The busiest shopping day of the year, is after all the day after Thanksgiving.

Many of you will spend time with family and loved ones tomorrow. But that doesn't mean your mind should stop working because you do. While I'm not suggesting you talk directly to them about your work or porn, do get into conversations with them and just pay attention to things. Take the time and see what you family, loved ones, and friends are:

- doing in thier lives
- interested in
- hobbies are ?
- things they are excited about in the world
- do they surf the web
- what things do they surf the web for
- how do they go about finding the things they surf the web for
- where do they surf the web
- do they google, or something else
- dial up or high speed
- do they wait for graphics to load, or only read the text
- what really catches thier eye on graphics, animation, topic, or clean crispness
- do they ever find any text/info to small for them to read

All those things can be worked into conversations very easily and off the cuff, so no one will think you are putting them under a hot light bulb and baking them instead of the turkey. You know, just bring these things up in chit chat with them, or a group of them.

Now why would you want to find out all this information for? Because you are talking to and reading the reactions and patterns, likes and dislikes of the average joe surfer. And this will allow you to build better sales and search engine pages from the info. So, while you take some family time on this turkey day, don't let your brain become left over oyster dressing. Use it and lazyily do some field work as you while away the day with family. You'll find a lot less guilt after that big turkey day meal if you do a spot of work that day too.
