Wednesday, Nov. 13th:
MrYum is thrilled with the help he has received from Merlin and the rest of the folks on the board regarding his question about server stats. Alan expresses his thanks to everyone as well, especially Sarettah who volunteered his time and effort without even being asked. Robbo comments that Alan's post is the kind everyone on the board who takes time out to help others can feel good about. Amber gets a lot of good advice in regard to choosing content. Merlin starts Cleo's "Crontab" lesson and posts a link for anyone else who is interested as well. Jojasa contributes a mouseover code and explains "exit=false." Helpful newbie site reviews are given and Sarettah posts the link to an .htaccess tutorial and interprets an AVS sites rules. Cygnusx and Techanic are welcomed to the board. Tribal stops by and gives Sarettah some tips. Posters comment on "South Park" and how much they enjoyed the week's DFN.

Thursday, Nov. 14th:
Voltar lets everyone know he will be on MaxCashLive. He and others share their opinions regarding an article Jojasa posted about the Supreme Court taking on porn at libraries. The topic remains respectful despite the diversity of impressions on the subject. Bailey asks if it is better to use percentages or actual pixels when setting table size. William begins celebrating his birthday a bit early. Lee announces his new baby niece. Sarettah comments on the fact that its nice that VNWR is such an intelligent group since it is "a very trying ordeal" to try and discuss controversial topics with idiots. Sid is also moved by the "rare pleasure to be privileged enough to openly and yes, intelligently, discuss such things in a civilized manner." LadyB has some fun cashing in her rewards points at ARS. Steve offers Sarettah some information on Pay Per Click. ChristyB gets some .htaccess help. Voltar explains hotlinking. Posters enjoy listening to Voltar on MCL.

Friday, Nov. 15th:
Old Tom and Voltar agree to disagree thus ending the debate on library computer censoring. Donald is welcomed to the board. Magus explains to Ghost of Winter, in hierarchal terms, why the board felt a bit uncomfortable to him yesterday. Mitzy has some technical difficulties. Spider announces that the lovely Lady Sharlot has won webmaster of the month and provides the link for posters to nominate her again. Posters enjoy the "fetishborkers" typo although Spider prefers "fetishbonkers." Sarettah has some questions he needs answered in preparation for Vegas. Merlin is looking to set up a chat system to increase productivity between M3 Servers and their clients. The true pronunciation of "Magus" is revealed and it sounds nothing like "maggot" or "ma-goose." Voltar provides Bert with a link that should help him in his quest for streaming software. Lady extends her thanks. Board Bingo begins. Bukkake is defined and text links are shared. Posters come up with VNWR slogans for T-shirts, coffee cups, glasses and thongs. Wolfe, who is providing the content prize for the game, would like comments or suggestions on how to improve his site for everyone. Marie wins Bingo and a set of content from Babylon Content.

Saturday, Nov. 16th:
"Spamalamadingdong" rings in the new day. Voltar shares some stories from Vegas. MrYum has a bad day and is encouraged by the "open and honest forum for the exchange of ideas, camaraderie and friendship among adult webmasters" at VNWR. Obahs announces that she needs some help with promotions of her numerous adult sites and will offer a percentage of the sales. Voltar explains the significance of the "pink post." Donald asks how to provide his banner for a banner exchange. Lil_Jen gets some input on why she is getting a "parsing" error when she tries to view a graphic she made in Photoshop. Alan's enthusiasm is welcomed. Robbo encourages Donald to learn HTML. MrYumm gets the pink. Magus entertains everyone with the details of his New Orleans adventure. Nikita returns from the Airforce and Alimony posts his triple project. Netpiddler shares his success story and urges newbies to stick with VNWR. William is wished a Happy Birthday.

Sunday, Nov. 17th:
Voltar reminds everyone that the busy season is upon us. Bushwacker announces that he and his wife celebrated their 27th anniversary Friday night. Voltar reviews Alimony's link. Link Trade Sunday officially begins with Magus getting the number one spot. Massman's problem is solved and a lot of great .htaccess information is posted in the process. Amber438 wonders how to place her thumbs correctly without using a script. Ian introduces himself and asks about hosting, Unix and getting started. Mitzy, with eyes glazed, joins the .htaccess discussion which has become very comprehensive. Merlin gives a course on "Symlink 101." Voltar urges Merlin to do a tutorial on Symlink for the DFN. Voltar lists those who will be taking part in "The Grouch" NPOW.

Monday, Nov. 18th:
Donald tackles his first HTML page by following along with a Newbie Project. He is very grateful for all the help. Link Trade Sunday officially ends and the list is moved to the resource section. Voltar explains how to upload a site so posters can review Donald's first site attempt. Merlin lets Amber know where to find the beginning of the Symlink discussion. Pastaboy reiterates Voltar's earlier comment regarding Merlin writing a tutorial for the DFN. Eclectixxx is back. Cygnus gets some feedback on his site. William gets some help with his dedicated server. William thanks everyone for all the help he's received. Old Tom answers the questions, "What's a symbolic link, and why might you want to use one? And why might you want to NOT use one?" Sarettah has "a Monday happen" to him and it gets translated into techie terms. "TheGrouch Part 2" is released. The "propellerheads" continue to crack themselves up. Posters express their condolences to LadyB whose friend passed away over the weekend. "Pick on Sare day" and techie talk comes to a close.

Tuesday, Nov. 19th:
Steve rethinks releasing Sare since he felt that "keeping him tied up in a back-up file was very appropriate." Those involved in the "Grouch" project continue to network. Aleck warns posters about certain file names that may be affected by ad blocking software. Bailey wonders if it would be best to put all pics, ads and banners in one file. Sarettah gets a 5am call from his son who is in the Navy stationed in Japan. Voltar lets everyone know what they are missing about getting listed on some major TGPs. "Old Sarettah" is wished a Happy Birthday. Bingo begins. "TheGrouch" project is discussed. Natasha wins Bingo and a set of content from Phoenix Content. Voltar posts "The Grouch Hub" and talks about setting a day of the week aside specifically for tech talk when "the propellerheads" resurface. Sarettah continues to receive many wishes for a very Happy Birthday.
