Million dollar ideas, sounds great doesn't it. You've more than likely had some yourself. In fact as a webmaster, you are more than likely to have had ones concerning websites as well. But you know, they don't exactly work out like fairy tales in the real world where we work and live. This brings many people stiff of some form. The reasons why thier million dollar idea didn't work are vast an many. Common reasons include lack of funds, knowledge, and someone just decided to be lazy and let it fall thru the cracks.

Follow me careful here, this is not going to go where you think it might. Back to the million dollar ideas. So you have had them and didn't follow up on them, or if you did, it didn't quite pan out as well as you whished it would. This also means that you are more likely to jump on board someone elses million dollar idea and try to make a go of it, if you are asked to, that is.

Congrads you are in the boat with about 90% of other webmasters. Since we try different things almost daily, and are experts at thinking out of the box, this makes us a targeted group. That's right, you ar part of a targeted niche group just because you are a webmaster. It makes you more likely to be a sucker for the con game, and the people who would run the cons on you KNOW IT.

You are ready to move and make money, you are ready to shake and bake, you ar ready to succeed. You are ready to be taken to the cleaners my friends and they are going to leave you standing around in your underwear not knowing what happened! Of course you don't see much of this at all on VNWR. The reason is we, the officials at VNWR constantly fight, test, yank posts of, and examine the constant barrage of con men flowing thru the net trying to take advanatage of you.

But this article isn't about us, it's about you. It's a reminder that as things happen and you go about your business on the net and expand your business, there are waiting in the wings, millions of people and companies ready to pounce and suck the life blood out of your company and business.

So beware anything that sounds to good to be true, beware million dollar ideas that people have. Tuth of the matter is, that if it`s such a good idea then most the time, they wouldn't be sharing it with you unless you were already thier long term business partner, or someone in my position where I help people constantly and daily with no expectations of getting anything back from the people I help in any way, except better webmasters for our entire industry.

Be vigilant, check out claims and promises. See what they have already there. Talk to some actual clients if possible, then check and see what ties those clients have to the other peson. Often you will see a scam in that linkage right there. A whois can often tell you volumes as well. Remember, you are being targted daily, watch out for them and recognize them as they show up. The newer a webmsater you are the more vulnerable you are to these attacks and scams. So everyone, play it saafe and don't jump on things until you checked them out. I hope this helps many of you to steer just a tad bit further away from trouble so it doesn't catch you and bite you on the ass :)
