Webmaster's Corner
Interview with Spider
DFN: This week's interview is with Spider.
Lets get the real basic stuff first...
Spider My name is Spider, I'm 38
and I live in the Midwest, USA.
DFN: How or why did you pick your nick?
Spider Spider has been since 20 years ...
DFN: How often do you try new building ideas, or using new sponsors?
Spider We try new ideas all the time, as soon as we think them through, reorganize and make them work. We use very few sponsors.
DFN: And how often do you build new sites?
SpiderA couple of premium sites every week.
DFN: How many hours a week are you able to put into your business?
Spider Full time 80 hours a week.
DFN: Do you do everything by hand? or do you use some scripts to automate your work?
Spider I cut as many corners as I can and still keep the quality up.
DFN: Do you have any tips for us on how you stay focused and organized working for yourself?
Spider Look and understand where profits are coming from and eliminate what has no chance of profit. Finish each project that you start... don't leave things half done.
DFN: Can you touch on how and why you got involved into this industry, and how long you have been doing it?
Spider Started shooting images in 95. Turned to content providers in 96, and now brokers in 2000. I like tying up women and found an excuse to pay for it.
DFN: Can you give a brief background on your history in this business, and where do you see yourself in one year and several years from now?
Spider In 1 year... still in the content broker business, next several years, looking for new ways to deliver content to webmasters and direct to consumers
