DoomSayers, Tra-La-La's and an Egg McMuffin

By

I'm sitting here eating an Egg McMuffin from McDonalds and thinking on how to approach this article and give you the insight that I have found from years of being on the net and in business in the non net world as well. The short version would be that things change and are forever evolving. People adapt and life goes on. That doesn't really cover it enough though, and would make this article a bit to short and boring!

On the net there are many types of people in business. Some good some bad, all come from differing backgrounds as well as being raised with different morals, ethics, and outlooks on life. A lot of the, is the glass half full or half empty type of thing going on out there. Change affects all people in a surprising array of ways. On one end you have the Tra-La-La's that nothing affects them and the sun will keep shining forever. On the other end you have the Doomsayers who see every little possible change as the end of the net and business as we know it.

This Egg McMuffin has hit the spot! For those of you who may not know what an Egg McMuffin looks like, here is a short description of it. Take a toasted English muffin, slice in half so you have a bottom and a top side, a slice of Canadian Bacon, cheese, and an egg fried in a circular cookie cutter type thing so it has the perfect shape to stay inside the sandwich. There you have it, nice hot with cheese slightly melted. Yumm! I'll have to get me another one tomorrow for sure. But back to the changing environment that we work in on the internet.

Both points of views should be looked at, evaluated, and considered massively extreme. Nether comes to bear fruit. The net with it various make ups and mesh of technology and people meld the two into what is most often the case, somewhere in the middle. Change always happens and the internet is a living evolving thing. This is natural and the par for the course.

Next time you see someone preaching doom and gloom don't buy into it. Take the time to see the other end of what the possible scenario is and shove the two together, like a sandwich. Like an Egg McMuffin. The top part of the muffin is one side and the bottom part the other side of the issue. The inside with the goodies is the middle ground where everyone likes and ends up at. After all the English muffin is just a flaky dry crumbly mess that no one wants to eat without the inside mid ground of an issue.

So next time, prepare for the mid ground on any issue or change on the net and you will find yourself in the warm middle where things normally end up.

Hope this helps you better evaluate the future in your webmastering and businesses. And as always, build, build, build, submit, submit, submit!
