Interview with RedDevil

DFN: This week's interview is with RedDevil.

Lets get the real basic stuff first...
RedDevil My name is RedDevil, I'm 27 and I live in Maryland, USA.

DFN: How or why did you pick your nick?
RedDevil I picked mine because that was my nickname from childhood, because of my redhair and the devilish side of me.

DFN: How often do you try new building ideas, or using new sponsors?
RedDevil Well to be honest right now I am constantly trying new ideas and new sponsors.

DFN: And how often do you build new sites?
RedDevil Well when I am not having computer problems which has not been that often lately one every few days. It really is not what I need to be doing and that is going to be picking up and going to a few everyday, I have just gotten my speed up quite a bit so that helps alot.

DFN: How many hours a week are you able to put into your business?
RedDevil I put in countless number of hours a week. I really can not count, I am really never not working even when I am spending time with my daughter. I am working in my head or even on the computer depends on what I am doing.

DFN: Do you do everything by hand? or do you use some scripts to automate your work?
RedDevil Right now I do everything by hand but I do know in the future I will be using some scripts for things.

DFN: Do you have any tips for us on how you stay focused and organized working for yourself?
RedDevil Well I have just found that the only way for me to stay focused and organized is to do everything that I would do if I was going to any other job. Get up take a shower get dressed and then just go to work.

DFN: Can you touch on how and why you got involved into this industry, and how long you have been doing it?
RedDevil Well I got into this industry through another adult webmaster that I met through a mutual friend. We started talking and we talked about how I wanted to find something that I could work from home and have time for my daughter. He told me about this business and showed me where I can find the things I need to learn including how to write html. I have now been in this business for 6 months and from the start I started on VNWR and wouldn't change that for the world.

DFN: Can you give a brief background on your history in this business, and where do you see yourself in one year and several years from now?

RedDevil Well I started out knowing absolutely nothing about building or designing websites or anything else. I see myself in a year being able to support my daughter if I just put my mind to it and do what I know I need to do. I have this all mapped out in a business plan. I see myself in several years from now buying or owning my own house and taking care of my daughter.

DFN: What area in terms of site building do you specialize in, if any?
RedDevil I really am not specializing in anything right now. I am dabbling in a little bit of everything right now till I figure out what I am the best at and then go from there.

DFN: What do you consider to be your strengths in this business?
RedDevil Well my strengths in this business is that I learn quickly and adapt to new things rather easily, and I have the knowledge to write things that men and women like to read and get them aroused.

DFN: What do you consider your 3 best niches?
RedDevil My 3 best niches are: Redheads, BBW, BDSM

DFN: What is the best advice you were given when you were first getting started in this industry and what advice could you give a newbie just starting out these days?
RedDevil The best advice I was given when I first started out was to be careful of what people say and not take it as a bible but also to go to VNWR post and go through the Quickstart guide and the Newbie tutorial for Newbies. To be honest I would have to give that exact same advice and add that you can't take the critisism personally and think they don't want you to succeed because they are hard on you. They want do want you to succeed but they know what it takes and they are not going to give you everything on a silver spoon you are going to have to work on it and learn.

DFN: What do you think the worst thing going on with future of our industry right now? ...and what is the best?
RedDevil The worst thing going on with the future of the industry are some of the egos and newbies wanting to come in and try to start at the top instead of the bottom like you would in any other business. You don't go to a fortune 500 company and start at the top you have to start at the bottom and work your way up the latter and it is the same here. The best thing in this industry is all the new and excite things that are coming out that we can get in on the bottom floor of. That the net is still in it's early stages of development and that gives us so much room to expand and to learn.

DFN: And finally... do you have a URL you want to plug?
RedDevil Red Devil XXX
