I sit here typing this amidst a pile of parts which is my main computer. Case open with hard drives spilling onto nearby boxes. The comforting whirrrr of clean fans cooling critical components. Much needing cleaning for another season of change.

I`m happy to say I`ll be taking on assistant editorial duties of the DNF weekly...this welcoming rag on the web we await each week for our fix of fresh knowledge, webmaster wit and the sense of community it imparts on us all. I am honored to be carrying on with the hard work of Voltar, Magus, Jojasa, Wingnut, Old Tom, Pastaboy and all the many contributors to the DFN over the years. With each distinct voice and point of view another chance for us to learn new concepts and forge new ideas of our own. Reflected in each article a sense of caring that only comes through true human compassion. I hope to continue on that same level and to be able to add a bit of myself in the process of helping to get our fix out on the net every week!

I`ll admit I was at first hesitant to accept the position as I`m often short on time being a full time father first but it is an opportunity that I could not let pass by so I found time to accomodate it. Another chance to give back to a community that has helped me grow tremendously as a webmaster. A chance to gain more experience in new areas. And also additional motivation for this time I have long awaited. With major work projects, cross country moves, home buying and most big remodeling projects behind me for now I can look forward to concentrating my efforts on the web once again. This winter was the goal to have many of these things accomplished and be able to be doing just what I am now.. enjoying my family and mining the internet. Two years of turmoil come to an end...many more years of possibilities to explore!

As I finish typing this my computer is now down below where it belongs all lean and mean with all pieces right where they should be. And that`s exactly how I fell in this moment. I`m right where I should be.

Alas I can`t feel I`ve finished this article without giving something. Or have I already? Put the pieces in their place! Set goals and work toward them. Whether you can only do it at a snails pace or are an assembly line incarnate. Do it with patience and confidence, integrity and honesty. Do it free from preconceived expectations and keep a sense of humbleness. Do it with a solid foundation of diversification and dedication, a good balance of ethics and economics. Believe in yourself and your mission and satisfaction will be the least of your successes.

Free to All - 1 life complete with a functioning world fully loaded
