It's come to my attention that many people are unsure how to start building recurring traffic sources for themselves. This weeks project will help you gain knowledge of that and also several important traffic alternatives for you to use in addition to the old standby ones.

You will be building a free site. 2 TGP gallery pages (they could be made from the content used in the free site, well 10 pics of it as content for this next set of items), 3 subniche pages for toplists that all lead to the same content area page, and a content area page and 3 targeted FPA's that lead back to the top list pages.

Make the free site and TGP page the same "general" niche as the one you choose below.

First pick one of the categories above, then figure out 3 defined subniches of it. Use the general category to hand build a 20 pic free site. Take the two galleries and mirror them into TGP pages. From the galleries and the free site, provide sets of 3 links to each of the subniches, which we will build toplist pages for (which are described further in this article).

On the gallery mirrors you'll provide links to the toplists mixed in with your normal recips., thus building traffic to the subniche pages via the out traffic from the toplists themselves.

The Toplist Triangle Traffic Generation (TTTG)

OK now that you have in place something to set some traffic into motion to the toplists so you can get traffic moving back to your TTTG, it's time to build the TTTG.

Build 3 pages, one for each of the subniches you picked out for the general niche your building for. On these 3 pages you should have each of them looking something like this: targeted subniche sponsor ad, 1/4 page ad would be about right; then a table with at least 10 targeted toplists to the niches links; then another ad, a nice little table with about 12 sponsor links to various sponsors of yours in that niche (simple one-two word descriptions will do, we don't want this ad to get to large); then a simple *enter here* link.. as if they came in on a free site entrance page linking to the content page.

NOTE: on the content page, the FPAs, and the toplist pages have an exit console that launches a single small exit console that has ALL 30+ toplists on it, target equals new on the links.

Take the 3 subniches of that single niche that you decided on. Choose 10 pics that cover all three from the ones you used for the site and tgp pages. Put them on a single page, much like a gallery linked to HTML pages with an ad above and below each full sized pic. At the top of the content page, place a good ad for each of the three subniches. Place all 30+ toplist links in a table just under those top ads, then half the thumbed pics(5). Next, a text ad for a general sponsor in the niche, then the other half of the pics(5) and then a tri cell table back to the targeted FPA of each subniche that leads back to the toplist pages via the continue here links. A bottom link to some other internal traffic source or filter page of yours, hubs are a good place to link to here.

The FPA's are links from the content page and they link to the toplist pages. Here is a little graphic to help you see the TTTG.

OK, now go grab the entire LTS list from yesterday, break it down into the three basic types of sites:
1. link lists
2. TGP's
3. topsites
Now you will build a site for all those in the #1. category, then a TGP page for all of those in the #2. category, and of course you use #3. category for the toplist pages. Follow links from where the clean top lists link to and use them for additional toplists. Finding and listing ones from different parts of the world will help you a lot. Time zones are different and they reset to zero at midnight their local time so some are always bringing in traffic to keep the others going when they reset. Make sure all pages are SE ready and submit to those as well.

Enjoy and profit from the new and fresh traffic, and know that you will now have a nice source for traffic yourself. Repeat and connect them all thru a Hub page for a advanced project, also you are giving support to these link lists that came out for you :)
