This project might seem simple to many of you. It might also seem alien as well. We will be doing a different free site layout than the normal ones. This will be accepted by some AVSes also and others not. Search engine traffic is a big part of this project. You will have lots of pages and all of them should be ready for the SE's, and each page should be a sales page.

The Basic Site
We are making a free site with the normal entrances and main page. There will be no galleries on these sites. You will instead, theme your site to a niche. Then have 2 to 3 subniched themed series of pics on html. This allows you to get a niches full traffic into your site and then target them harder. Keep reading and I'll explain in more detail.

Niche and Subniche
Build your basic free site entrance and main page according to the niche you are promoting. On the main page you will not say gallery 1 and gallery 2. Instead you say here is my sample pics of (then the subniche name). Anything close will work as long as you use the subniche name in the link. An example of a Niche and subniches would be, Niche: Gay, Subniches: Studs, bears, legal twinks.

What's In Place Of Galleries?
In place of the galleries you will have small series of pics on HTML pages. They will all be linked like a chain, The first one leads to the second one and so on. None of them link back to the main page. You already targeted the surfer, so don't screw yourself after that. The further they get away from the source from which they came into your site at the better chance they will leave on one you YOUR links. Keep reading on there is a Voltar twist to this below.

The HTML Pic Pages
The HTML pages themselves are very simple to do. You have the pic in the center and middle of the page. Above each pic you have 2 line text link for the subniche of that series. Text link only, no banners or buttons. You need these to be clean and fast to get your listings with them. And NO this does not mean placing the text beside the full sized pic. Font size should be font size 3, 4 or 5. Nothing larger or smaller. Remember that SE's read text links, and it lets you talk about what is on the page there as well. Do NOT repeat the same text link at the top of the page on more than 2 pic pages.

Below the pic you have a clear link that says click to continue to my next pic. Don't bury it, don't make it small, make it plain and simple. NO links back to the pics before it, they have back buttons for that.

Now for the little Voltar twist.
At the last page with a pic on it, your bottom link should NOT say Click here for the next pic. It should say: Click here for the next page. You are not deceiving them in the least. It's not your fault they are use to clicking for more free pics at that point. So they just click on to the next page. Where you want them to be at.

The Next Page
The next page is a simple enough page to make and do. You place a HPA (Half Page Ad) at the top of it, and a clear link into your internal sites and hubs as a small table ad at the bottom.

I suggest using 3 series of 7 pics to cover 3 niches for this project. It's a total of 21 pics that way. Or make one a series of 6 for 20 total pics. If doing only two subniches, use 10 in each series, but I have found ten pics in a row gets to be a bit to much to keep the surfers attention. Your results may be different, so try them that way if you choose to.

Advanced
For those wanting something a bit more advanced with this project, do it as it's laid out, and add a link on all the pic pages except the last pic page. This link will be at the bottom of the page. It should say, click here for last pic in this series. Many can't resist that, and will click right to the last pic page. Advantage of this is that you have a link on that page to the next page. Many will click on thru then and you get a big in your face presentation of your sponsor to them even sooner than before. Always think of human nature when you build sites and control the flow.

Note that this is an alternate site design and layout project. Not everyone will like your break from the norm. But making sites all the same all the time is both boring and less profitable! If you are not comfortable with doing it, then don't. But don't be surprised when you see nice results and comments about it on the board from those who do.
