Hello Everyone, It's not PastaBoy this week, but me Voltar filling in with a few little SE tips for everyone. Pasta will be back next with with your SE Noodles.

Search Engine Tips

Meta Keywords
In your meta keywords take that extra moment and check them to make sure they are not spamming the SE's when you submit your pages to them. How can they be spamming? Well, some SE's (search engines) consider more than 3 of the same keyword in the meta keywords to be spam, and not only that but they read them one character at a time. So that means that if you use the word "tit" in your meta keywords in this combination that it can be considered spam. "tit, tits, titty, big tit, cute tits, cyber titty" Definitely something to be very aware of.

Image ALT tags
Most search engines read your entire page when evaluating them for listing. This includes the ALT tags in your img src part of displaying any graphic. Using that ALT tag with keyword heavy phrases and blurbs can up your bottom line in keyword counts and get you higher ratings.

Image and URL naming
Oh yea, this can be a great way to boost up the keywords your going for in your listings. Take every image and name it a name that you have in your meta keywords or some relevant niche oriented name. Add to this the name of the subdomain when you make your site.

Which if named it after one of the keywords or niche names, then you can call all the images on the page by absolute url and add again a nice extra amount of keywords in your page.

Header Tags
Many search engines look for relevance to your text on your page. One of the things that you can make text more relevant is by using header tags. A header tag is the H1, H2, H3, H4... tags. You place them inside of brackets just like you would a bold tag. Make sure you shut them down by a / just like a bold tag, after the text is done that belongs in a header tag. Not only this, but you get greater response if you place the header tags in descending order. Start with an H1 for the top text and work your way down the page with the smallest that gets good listings being an H4. There are lower header tags, but honestly I've never had them give the same result as the H1 thru H4 ones do.

Thanks for dropping by this week and check back next week for Pasta return the the SE Noodles.
