I Almost Like This Site

Sex Story

Most of us came into this industry because when we were just plain surfers we surfed porn sites. Once in here it's often the case that because our time is so limited the very last thing we ever get to do is to surf porn sites.

Yet that is often the very thing we should be doing. We don't need to do it to get our rocks off, we need to do it to get fresh ideas about marketing. It's so easy to turn out pages that always look the same. We don't need to use templates on our computer because often the template is burned into our brain and the same old design just keeps on coming out of our head.

I know my sites often tell a story behind the images. I always seem to be trying to make the site too SE friendly with lots of text and that often adversely affects the marketing potential of the site.

So it was refreshing to look at the site that is under review today. It is totally different to anything that I've ever done and it's making me think about trying some new ways of constructing my free sites.

You can find the site here:

The first thing you notice when the page loads is text. Nice big juicy text that hits the surfer in the face as soon as he sees the page. Nice big juicy text that's loaded with keywords. Nice big juicy text that is clear, concise and targeted to appeal to the end of the surfer's cock.

The font size is big, the actual font itself is plain but easily read and it is in a color that lifts it off the page. The one banner on the index page will attract the surfer's eye too because it is the one image on a page full of text.

Looking at the source code is interesting too. Search engines like to see page titles in H1 but sometimes that looks plain ugly. On this site the webmaster has used CSS to ensure that the search engines see the title as H1 but the surfer sees it as something a little less 'in your face'.

The only item on that page that I might find some vague fault with is the 2257 statement. These days every page should have one but it doesn't have to be as big as the one that appears on this site.

The main page is also clear and sharp. The use of a light colored banner on a black background ensures that the surfer will see it. The endorsement of the sponsor towards the bottom of the page adds a personal touch that will appeal to many surfers.

The gallery pages are interesting too because each of them can be quickly converted to a TGP gallery. The thumbs are a little larger than I might use and they don't blend in with the background but that is not so important because you would have to be blind to miss the marketing on this page. It sits squarely in the middle of the gallery and yet is such a small file size that it is not going to slow the page's loading time down at all.

The second gallery gives away 15 pics instead of just 10 and perhaps that is something that should be watched. I'm a miserly sod who hates giving the surfer one more pixel than I have to so I would never put more than 10 pics on a gallery unless I was desperate to get listed on a link list that required more than 10 per gallery.

The final touch on the last gallery page is an excellent idea. If you can't sell your surfer on your sponsor then don't let him go without offering him something else. Surfers are hard to come by and you don't want to waste even one of them.

By the way, a note to the person who submitted this site for review; loud sucking noises in your submission email will get you nowhere. Marie is always here to remind me that I really am an ignorant, acidic old bugger.
