No-Content Sales

Huh? What do you mean by that?
Well, Once upon a time, in the ancient past as relates to the Internet, one could make up a page with a bunch of banners and text links. Then these 'banner farms' would be submitted to search engines and directories and most often be listed. Hot and heavy paydays were the result.
Then came the 'traffic' folks who set rules as to what would be listed and webmasters, as a general rule, started designing galleries and free sites along those guidelines.
Today we still tend to consider the rules of whoever owns whatever in order to get our stuff listed. And we can see that the future 'may' hold even more such restrictions.
I know this is a very abbreviated history but you get the idea.
So how can we use a similar model of 'No-Content' pages today? You can include hybrid FPAs in your site matrices, high ratio of ads versus links on a modified 'hub' design and many other ways to sneak in a page that is designed to make money.
You may recall a short article I wrote concerning documenting what you do. It addressed the need to know to whom something was submitted in order to analyze traffic/sales results. Since the experiment was focused on Search Engine effect rather than sales I was pleasantly surprised to have good sales results on pages that have virtually NO CONTENT!
