VNWR It Feels like a Home to Me

VNWR feels like a home to me. I first posted just under 2 years ago on the old board. I think I have matured a lot since then, when I first arrived I knew absolutely nothing.

I remember submitting my first ever gallery for review a couple days after posting a few message and getting to know a few of the other members. I remember it was only 10 minutes at most before I had an answer from Voltar explaining that everything was wrong on the gallery LOL. Due to my ignorance I had whacked a page together with about 30 images/thumbnails, stuck 6 adverts on it (big amateur pages adds) LOL. I also got the pics from a gallery I had found on Worldsex, the gallery was hosted on geocities as well I think. Anyways that was online for about 20 minutes before I took the whole thing off and deleted everything from my hard drive.

A couple weeks later I got my first sale, I had viewed all the past NPOW's, asked hundreds of questions and I had received loads of answers to my questions which must have already been answered a hundred other times for other newbies. A while ago I looked back at my history on the board.... to be honest I don't know how ANY of you have put up with me for so long.... in the posts that I went back through I find myself quite rude and offensive some times. I was the youngest on the board.... I had just turned 18...

I often wonder if I would still be in this industry if it was not for VNWR and all the newbies like me who make it feel like a home. I have so many great memories of staying up all night meeting and networking with people on the board. I used to chat with Gryphin and his wife Hotshorts nearly every night.... for hours! Not specifically chatting about business, but just chilling out talking about life.

The thing that makes VNWR so special for me are the friends I have met though the board. It is truly a community. People stick by each other through good/bad patches. I remember even banning myself from the board once for being a complete idiot. I felt it was necessary as I had done wrong and in the 2 weeks I went without VNWR it hit me as to how much it has given me and how much I owe it!

Well it looks like my doll is calling me, it is time for her to wax my ass as it has reached that weekly time, I look forward to learning and progressing with all the new and current faces who sails on VNWR :)
