Fear of Failure

So often people see stories of success and tell themselves that they can do 'whatever' just as well and therefore should themselves be as successful.

But as we all know, the very same criteria, applied to different people result in differnt situations.

Take VNWR for example. Here there can be found virtually all the tools, instructions, ideas and implementation techniques for successful adult webmastering.

Now look around. There are people who have taken portions or all of these aids and risen to incomes that many envy. And, there are some that have yet to commit themselves to trying. Now, I am not talking about anyone in particular adn certainly do not want any hurt feelings.

What is holding them back? Well, simply put, fear. Fear of the unknown, Fear of radical change. Fear of fealing foolish for asking questions. Fear of failing.

Now think about that! Fear of failing, which is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We start life, not able to talk, or feed ourselves. We can't walk, or control our bodily funtions. But no matter how many times we fall down, we eventually learn to toddle. No matter how many 'accidents' we have, we eventually catch on to the meaning of certian pressures in our bladder. And for all the gobblety gook we say, at some time we eventually become understandable.

What happened? When did we learn to be afraid? Why are we still allowing that artificial conditioning to affect our dreams?

Everyone knows some quaint sayings about success. Here are a few of my favorites:

"Who dares, wins"

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but doing something in spite of being afraid"

"If you fear it will take too long, remember, it is the same length of time no matter what."

So the challenge now, is to find you what YOU are afraid of and act accordingly.
