Life Of A Free Site

You create the free site, upload it.

You then submit the sites entrance and main pages to the search engines. *This takes maybe 6 weeks to get results from.*

You link in your hubs and interlinking to other sites to refilter and share traffic to existing sales pages.
*This gets various amounts of traffic into more intense sales areas and retargets the traffic better than what it normally comes in as. This also provides you with link popularity, and numerous other things you may have going on in your internal structures. This way EACH site you build feeds ALL your sites with traffic, spiders and even new recycled traffic you generate from departing surfers via last ditch toplists pages and such.

Immediately after the SE submits you submit it to the link lists and all the various entrance pages you made for it, for different link lists.
*This gets immediate traffic(within a couple days normally it starts) but dies off within a few days or a week.*

Still 5 weeks left before the golden SE traffic hits.

You do AVS entrances for it. This takes a couple of days normally to be listed and some internal traffic from new listings start coming in.
*This gets initially some traffic but then filters off to a few hits a day after the new is off your listing. For as long as you stay on the avs's lists, you do get some traffic. The more sites the more traffic over all you get.

Ok, 4 weeks left until SE traffic now.

Now you take your galleries, mirror them with the content and tgp with them, of course providing a link back into your internal web and hubbing. Thus providing more traffic to ALL you sites from it.

Ok, now 3 weeks left before long term SE traffic.

You go now and find these long term toplists, directories and archived links and submit to them.
*Get long term solid traffic from these, but the amounts are small amounts, but in addition with other sites the total becomes larger with each site you add to the kitty with. Again, link popularity comes into play as well.

2 weeks until SE traffic starts.

You create an entrance(s) that are heavy on non US keywords and submit to non US SE's that match those keywords. Most surfers can read some english so the fact that the site is in english isn't really a problem in most cases.
*This can get some very interesting results, the non us search engines are often over looked and they get far less good listings. Faster turnaround time and higher rankings many times means some serious se traffic.

1 week to go until the SE long term traffic kicks in.

Review: Weed out link sites recips that no longer list you or didn't in the first place. If you aren't on thier site or in their archives then there is no reason to keep thier link up. It's a traffic drain at that point. Replace with keywords so the second spidering of the site gets bumped up even more than the initial one.

Long term SE traffic arrives.

Seek out alternate traffic sources to send thru hubs for this sales site, as well as other sites now feeding the internal network to feed all the sales pages, balance continues.

One year later resubmit to link lists with fresh entrances and submit them to SE's as well. The cycle repeats and continues.

Do this so you have some part of it going on each day in your routine from different sites.

In three months time you will have close to a hundred sites in various stages all selling and generating or on their way to generate long term traffic. You build your future on long term, not here today gone next week traffic. You see link lists are only a single initial stage of what you should be doing with your sites. The real money is in the SE traffic and alternative traffic that is long term.

I left out a few other things that can be done, so cover them under misc. :)
