WWV Thoughts

After a long long flight from Arizona I finally arrive in South Bend...... I am all pumped up to see everyone again and meet some new people (which I did)

So the night begins at Denny's (now remember this is in the parking lot of the hotel) I arrive late (as usual, but this time it was the flight not me) and I sit down with Voltar and the first new people I meet is Merlin and Dantheman (The great guys from M3server) and then here comes Lady Sharlot (we were dying to meet each other, so that was great) Grub on a big juicy hamburger, talked a little to my new friends and Voltar and then back to the conference room we went, and the WWV began, for me anyway.

Up in the conference you see lots of empty Mtn Dew cans, those lushes and their caffeine I tell ya LOL. Voltar starts off by letting everyone know what we will be covering over the weekend, I have to say I was very impressed by this, he detailed everything out so we knew what would be happening at all times :)

After that we went around the conference room and everyone was able to introduce themselves and go over what they wanted to get out of the weekend. We talked about new ideas for traffic, site development, new ways of marketing different niches, how to talk to surfers, scripts, different ways to speed up your productivity and most importantly how to make money and see a steady growth. This is when my head starting spinning and I think there were others with me at this point (some were spinning before I got in lol)

This was great, we got to hear from each other and find out what everyone does and what there day to day work is like...... Networking with other people in the business is one of the most important things, you can learn from others, that is why VNWR is such a great place to visit and talk to others in the business, you are able to sit down with someone and go over what you are doing and they jump in and tell you something that they are doing and what is working for them, then it is up to you to take those ideas and run with them, and trust me we did :)

"In politics, if you want anything said,
ask a man.
If you want anything done,
ask a woman."
Margaret Thatcher

I have been in this business for a long time and I still learn new things everyday and this comes from networking with people that I have met in the business, don't be afraid to ask someone for help and if you are lost and don't understand something, you will always get an answer, we might not give everything out, but we will steer you in the right direction where you can do some of your own research and find new things :)))

To give you an example, on Saturday Lady Sharlot and Merlin gave presentations on Content and Servers, I sat there and asked question after question, the reason I did this is because I don't know much about that area of the business, and after those presentations I came away knowing more about each one, so I can in return help out others and answer questions and also help myself know more about the business in different areas :)

And then came Old Tom talking about scripts and the Fetish niche, this guy knows what he is talking about... this was great for me, I learned a lot from him and have applied many of his ideas already.

After this came the fun stuff, Voltar the man behind all of this, talked about the TTT and the T2 this is a project that I encourage everyone to do, new, old it doesn't matter, this project will help you. You will see the MC team talking about hubs and new ways to advertise sites and new marketing ideas, well this project will do just about everything for you, it teaches you how to target market, learn different niches, how to get traffic and the greatest thing of all how to build an empire :)

The MC dinner was absolutely fantastic - everyone was able to sit down in a quiet room and talk and get to know one another :) Network and eat some good food :))))

This trip was by far one of the best trips I have taken, webmaster related :))) I came back with new ideas, more knowledge in areas I didn't know a whole heck of lot about and the best part about it the people I got to meet :)

If you are able to attend next year, this is a must, so start saving now and make sure you bring a note book and brain storage LOL
