Bet this sounds like something from out of this world, doesn't it? JUMP - Get Famous. What the heck is he talking about?

I'm talking about getting yourself yet another alternate traffic source of your own. One where you build up bookmarkers and and make your business more profitable and stable for you. It's also good for trafficing link type sites and tgps too.

This insulates you against the whims and fancies of traffic sources, as well as over stringent rules and the ebbs and flows of the net. Building your own personal private source of traffic, is also profitable and enlightening.

In this project we are building something simple yet involved. The surfers will bookmark and come back to it if you do it right. Do this correctly and over time you can build up to thousands and even tens of thousands of daily hits from surfers. The key is to keep working it. Keep the flow incoming and the site updated.

So what type of site is it you ask?
You are going to build a Jump Page, often called a Start page. This Jump page is what they make as their default page for when the browser open up. You most likely all have one yourself. This project may not be for the "Raw" newbie who hasn't got a dozen sites done yet. Some may choose to not do this one, but do bookmark it and come back later when you are ready for it.

Lets lay out some common elements for the Jump Page.Some things you will want to add to it can be:

• Game plugins
  
• Stock Market plugins
  
• Email address proggies
  
• Search Engine search box
  
• Sponsor buttons and text links
  
• Daily rotation scripts
  
• Pics of the day links
  
• Expandable menus (top or side placements)
  
• Surfer configurable modules (very advanced, you may want to skip this one)
  
• Links to candy or food
  
• Freebies, such as screensavers
  
• General adult news type articles

And the one that is a must do, the "Get Famous" part. You write a daily column that should run in the middle of this Jump page. They can be on various things, adult related, but need to be done daily. Get radical in them. Give a strong opinion and rant about it some.

Note: Check with a lawyer about any points of view you do want to expess, that may cause any problems, to be on the safe side. Come off sounding like someone famous. Not another person, but that YOU are famous. An authority on what your doing. You are a famous internet commentator. Make the surfers believe that.

You can write up a bunch of these and have them rotated in on a daily basis. And make an archives of all the past ones and link to it. It doesn't matter that there are none to begin with, it will grow.

Next
Now that you know what goes on the Jump Page, how do you lay it out? Try useing a 3 column table with dark colored cells on the left and right with a white cell in the middle, where the daily article from famous you will go. The sides are where you can drop in plug ins, pics of the days (should be low on page), and several other types of things from the list above. Make it light and easy to bookmark. Push the bookmarking of it.

Feed it from TGPing and other sources of traffic generation, like you would a hub. A great place to send your 404 traffic to. Remember to give it a name and make it graphic lite for more bookmarkers. Remember to keep it updated and fresh. Promoted right it can get thousands of daily visitors. This can help you get far ahead in this buisiness. And yes you can make several of these covering various niches for even better targeting of the surfer to the sponsors. Since this will be seen by the same person daily, you want to make it professional looking and with new sponsor links on a regular basis.
