My Meeting with Voltar
By
Beran aka Barron
Some of you may know that I took sometime off for a trip to see Voltar last month. After posting to the board what a wonderful time I had, Jojasa asked me if I would write an article for the DFN about my trip. I thought about it and agreed, but recanting about the trip takes more explaining than just reciting events. A person needs or should at least understand that newbies don’t have a clue until some one explains it to them. Some one has to be the teacher. There are many knowledgeable people out there that are willing to help. But the person that pulls all these people together the best is Voltar.
Sponsors use free site owners as one of their many tools to feed them traffic. If the newbies try very hard to succeed but fail, then bail out of the business, sponsors will not have that valuable traffic. That is one reason why the sponsors seek out webmasters. They spend the money they do on advertising to support webmaster resource sites, including VNWR, so they can attract webmasters. Sponsors will do everything they can to help a webmaster to succeed, but VNWR takes that one step further by providing a place to learn the basics of generating traffic to send to the sponsors.
That is why VNWR is so important to the Adult Industry as a whole. Not only are the visitors to the board being taught by someone that has been a success in this business, but continues to build and be an active part. You can’t teach people how to do business if you aren’t keeping up with the industry. And Voltar does just that, continues to build and test new ideas so he, and the other people that visit the board can learn and be a success.
He can, and does, teach you everything he knows about the basics of what it takes for you to be a success in this business. He teaches everything from generating traffic, how to build sites, how to do graphics, how to move traffic around and how to sell your sponsors. He is here to teach you the basics. Once you learn the basics, he encourages you to move on. Take what you’ve learned and grow from it. In my short tenure, I have seen others do just that!
