CHAIN LETTER
Newbie Project Of the Week
Voltar
This weeks project is a trap project, actually a mind game with the surfers. It's easy to do, but can only be in certain places, those being your internal web pages only. Consider this as an alternative traffic generation project by way of a mind fuck.
A chain letter traditionally tells you that if you don't send off "X" amount of copies of that letter to friends, then bad luck falls on you. Normally accompanied by tragedy blurbs about someone who didn't follow thru with the instructions of the chain letter. And of course the real play up is how luck will be Good to those who follow the instructions. If you have no clue what I'm describing here, then you'll have to search for one via the SE's to see what one looks like.
Our tie in will NOT involve us sending a single email. We will be making a text ONLY web page that is based on a chain letter, only updated for the web and profits. Get the surfer who believes in chain letters to email 7-9 of his buddies the URL of that trap page, or bad luck befalls him. If he does this then he gets good luck, which I'll explain below.
Lay out the basic text of the good and bad on a page (see what I described above for help with good and bad text).
Add 2 rows of short sponsor text links to target general traffic with. 4 links in each row is about right. Cover a different niche with each of the 8 links. Put one row almost at the top of the page. And one almost at the bottom of the page.
Below the bottom row of sponsor links you just put in big letters a warning to go back up and read it completely.
Above the top row of sponsor links you place a row of 7-9 email pre-coded links for the surfer to click to send his buddies an email with that URL on it. Label these something like Friend #1 Friend #2 thru the end of how many you told him he had to do.
On the last email link, its a blind link to a page of yours Built just for those for free type programs, and low trial membership offers and budget type sponsors. Make it sound like it's a great thing that he found it. You "could" even call it Lucky Dayz or something like that. Of course, filter the surfer down and get them niched and ready to buy. For the email links, you can go Here and view source, copy, and edit url and text to match your site.
the more luck I seem to have."
