Adding recips. to your sites and galleries. This for many webmasters may seem daunting at first. But do hang in there, because once you get them done you reuse them time and time again with but an occasional change.

A recip. is a link back to a link type site that you are submitting your site or gallery to. You find these at the site you are submitting to and unless they are a toplist, you need to have the link in place and uploaded prior to submiting your page or site. With toplists, you submit the site or page and it gives you a specific code to use for the recip., which you place up on your site immediately after submitting it.

For TGP galleries you commonly use 3 or 4 recips back on a gallery. You place these across the top of the page. A long time back anywhere was fine, but now days they want them at the top, so place them there. Use the recip. images or text links that the places you are submitting to provides for you on thier submit pages. Make sure to grab the proper recip. urls and link them accordingly. You then submit the page with the recips on it to the tgps that are listed there. Remember to read thier rules, as each place is different.

For free and avs type sites, you should have a table of 6 to 9 recips for each mirrored entrance. These go just above the enter link into the site.

Do group recips in grouping according to certian factors. Some places allow you to have FPAs, those you group together on a mirrored entrance and send the traffic from the enter link there thru a FPA and to the main page of the site. For sites that don't allow FPAs, you group them on a mirrored entrance page that the enter link goes directory to the main page.

There will be other factors that you will learn to group recips by, including niches, but this gets you off and running. Do use all text whenever you possible can on recips. Images just slow your page down and text adds search engine fodder to your site as well. Another thing to note, is that you should submit your toplists on a page first, becasue many link type sites read your page when you submit to them, and can ban you or not list you if it's changed afterwards. You then submit the page with the recips on it to the link type sites that are listed there. Remember to read thier rules, as each place is different.

There is also a "no recip." that you will run into, on these you submit clean entrances and galleries that have no other recips on them.
