That's right, it's time for a little breathing room for you to catch up on the 3 summer projects. It's very important that you do these. It may not seem so now with the good sales season here on us. But as webmasters we don't build for now. We build for 4 to 6 weeks from now, and beyond. So get in gear and use this week wisely. You can find the past 3 weeks projects in the DFN Weekly.

Now for those of you with your summer stuff in place already, we have a little bit of a prep project for you to do. This will serve you VERY well when this big summers project comes around.

This past year saw the largest online shopping season ever. If you don't want to cash in on some of that for this years online buying sprees, then your doing your business a disfavor. You also need somewhere to send your "exit - I didn't mean to come to an adult site" link traffic to from your free sites that YOU profit from. Besides aren't you tired of seeing all the lame webmastering that's going on over at non adult websites? It's like they have seen what we do that makes money and tried to reproduce it only to have poor shabby copies show up. You know what I'm talking about by what you see on the SE's lately. Did the words "load time" ever occur to them? It doesn't look like it to me! I believe we can do much better! Taking our higher homed skills in traffic generation and manipulation and create things unthought of by mainstream webmasters.

This prep project is going to be simple for you to do. But will allow you to get out there and get some traffic flowing and some links built up to use in the summers big project. You will be building 2 SE door way pages and a targeted mainstream store.

First
Choose your mainstream niche. You get only one, and that one can not be xxx oriented. So NO sex toys, sexy outfits, or BDSM related items. You will need a non porn named domain to build this site on.

  • Business Supplies(paper, toner, etc..)
  • Sporting Goods(hunting, hiking, golf balls, etc..)
  • Ladies Fashions(no underwear or nighties)
  • Mens Fashions(no underwear)
  • Entertainment Hardware(tvs, radios, vcrs, etc..)
  • Computer Software(no erasing porn tracks stuff)
  • Bed and Bath(blankets, bath oil kits, perfume, etc..)
  • Antiques and Collectables(knick knack store with various collectables)
  • Home Improvement
  • Computer Hardware(computers, memory, hard drives, etc..)
  • Flowers and Plants
  • Automotive Parts

    Now I don't expect you to be actually selling these things your self, but to provide links that cover all the items you can think of in these niches so it appears they are in your store, to sponsors of these type programs. Start at some place like cj.com to begin your search for links to fill your store. Then branch out by using the SE's and finding other sponsors that will pay you commissions for sales of thier products. You never take an actual order or ship an actual product. A lot like what your doing now with adult sites. After choosing the niche, make 2 SE pages that are keyword heavy in that niche and link back to your newly built mainstream site. One small entrance self blur console is fine. No exit consoles, for now. No links to anything porn oriented will be allowed, including hubs.
