Some Thoughts on TGP2

Traditionally, all types of link sites take about a year to build a good traffic base and to become decently profitable There are exceptions of course, but I think TGP2 is still in its very infant stages. Time and hard work will bear them out... some do send some good traffic.. some have sent me close to a thousand a day with listings.

When comparing a TGP2 to a TGP listing, you should actually do the math fairly; 15 pics versus the same 15 pics. So it's 3 TGP2 galleries using the same content as one TGP gallery, with 3 times more ads, minimal. So take a thousand hits from each, which would you as a webmaster, rather have? a surfer seeing three pages of ads or only one... which one per surfer would say is more profitable? the answer is there, obviously.

With that said, there are TGP2s popping up all over the place, and not realizing the hard and long work it takes to get and build traffic. Many of them are going for the throat right away, and expecting to make money from them right away.

Link lists don't work that way... and if you don't have the dedication and future insight to work your ass off for a good year getting it built into something before trying to get a decent amount of profit from it, then you're most likely wasting everyone's time and efforts.

Realize the truth and reality that traffic doesn't come overnight, and 99% of all places that start with traffic trading scripts bugger off and die off. You do NOT start generating and manipulating traffic via traffic trading scripts in the infancy of anything. They are worthless until you build up a base to work from.

You must build your traffic base thru other means PRIOR to using a traffic trading script.

So the word is... get your ass out there and find traffic the old fashion way. Work an hour a day per site minimum, every day...day in, day out, Sundays, holidays, etc. Trade traffic without a script, feed it yourself. Accumulate bookmarkers ...shit a surfer will bookmark damn near anything, including trap sites, but you have to present a non fucked with area for him or he won't be using that bookmark to come back.

At a 50% skim you are screwing yourselves out of at least HALF of your bookmarkers! So that means every day you're at 50%, you're growing at only half the speed you could be! Add into the equation that an average TGP surfer may click as many as three links, and at 50% its a 1 in 2 chance that they are clicking something that will screw with them. You know what? That means that statistically you are fucking (redirecting) with EVERY bookmarker or possible bookmarker that shows up on your site... ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID!?! No wonder the traffic isn't building or is building at a very slow rate! Get rid of the damn traffic trade scripts until you've grown up your site enough to use them!

This should make things clear enough in hard cold facts and numbers, how you, if you are a webmaster, starting a TGP2 or any type of link site, and using a traffic trade script at 50%, are cutting your own throat.

I'm sure I've pissed off some traffic trade script junkies with this, but what the fuck! Read the numbers, then make some real recip trades, some self generation plans, and get to work... because you will come out far, far ahead of those who use tools before they are ready for them. Then, once you get it built up, you can skim some off and keep a decent base flowing and growing.

I'm not against traffic trading scripts. I'm against fools who think the traffic trading scripts will do the work for them from day one.

You see, I say the hard to hear things, and it doesn't always make me the most popular fellow, but if you go back a few years and check things, if I hadn't done it my way, well over half or more of you wouldn't have still been here today. Back then 95% of all newbies died off.

It was only the 5% that survived who got any real help, and then it was in the shadows. Small hints and limited tips with a 50/50 chance that they were wrong. Yes I helped make it happen, you were there too, you helped make it happen... so don't go getting willy nilly and not thinking on your link sites, TGP2 and otherwise. We are webmasters and hard work brings rewards.

There are HARD lessons ahead for many running TGP2s and link sites, hopefully I've helped open some eyes so it won't be such a surprise and you can be prepared and forge on thru it... build thru it!
