Transparent Images

It's an old technique making text the same color as your background will get you high Se rankings. Wrong, It will get you banned from the Se's. You could get away with this if for example you were to vary the hex code one digit for the particular color background. I don't like this method, there isn't enough of a comfort factor IMHO. In a few articles that I have read, some of the Se Gurus are speculating that some of the SE's are able to distinguish color codes that are similar to one another. We all know how to load image alt tags to our advantage by utilizing keywords to boost the relevancy of our pages. So what if we were to ulitlize a transparent 1x1 gif image for hidden links? You can download a 1x1 gif here. The purpose of the image is to hide from surfers, but allow you to bulk up on relevant keywords pertaining to your page/site. When using the transparent gif

<img src="trans.gif" alt="keywords">leaving off the dimensional tags for the image, the image loads fast, doesn't draw attention and makes it more difficult for the engine to determine the graphic size.

If you have more than 1 domain code in your templates, add some invisible links for spider links on your pages. Utilize the transparent gif in the image tag to have the spiders follow your links: http://www.abc.com img src="trans.gif" alt="keywords" border="0". The links are there just not visible, and you don't have to bury them down low in the footer of the page. Kind of similar to the "link topper" portal technique discussed in a previous article. The portal doesn't make you money but it does create link popularity :)
