I have several other stories like this I could share, but you get the idea of what I'm getting at. If you're going to spend upwards of $10,000 on a booth at the convention to push your products, make sure they are actual products that you can deliver on. If the product is in development, know when it will be completed and when it will be delivered. People will respect you more if you are upfront with them, even us porn pushers.

Not all of the vendors at the show were completely clueless. I did talk with several vendors at the show that explained their programs to me and I have since signed up with them without problems. Not only did I sign up with their programs (yes, they are newer programs as well) but they have also sent me follow-up e-mails to ensure I was ready to start promoting. The only phrase that comes to my mind … Top Notch!
