Its nice to see lots of new eager posts on the boards. You're in a very diverse learning environment. No one will hold your hand but we all will feed your willingness to learn :).

Get the first freesite out the way, the second and third will follow as will the efficiency and understanding of the craft. The reward will be signups.

The reasearch is the interesting part. How much do you know about the various lifestyles that you will be selling? OldTom and Jojasa disappear from time to time to do a little BDSM reasearch first hand, not saying you need to get *extreme* unless you want to. There are lots of places on the web where you can read up on the various niches that we all sell (or try to sell might be a better term).

Your efforts might be wasted selling BDSM for example. You want to come across as being a "Dom", but all your text links are of the submissive nature. You're misinformed is all. You need to become educated about the BDSM scene.

There are some very knowledgable people on the boards, all it takes is some initiative. Ask, send an email. You can always mention Hotwax and Morgana *WILL* show up.

Learn all you can about the specfic niche you are trying to sell. If you're just getting serious about webmastering, this is one of thse urls you really need to spend time surfing Sexuality.org. It's mentioned a lot on the board. You need to create the illusion, get the surfer's attention. The way to do this is to become informed as to what you're trying to sell. A misinformed salesmen is a companie's worst asset.

Another niche that I find hard, and a lot of male webmasters find hard to sell, is the gay niche. How you doin? There are a lot of *closet* surfers out there, with plastic to boot.

One of the best tips I was given was; "talk to your male surfers as if they were women". What a novel idea! Get into character/mindset and Just do It.

My best advice is to keep an open mind and dont give up! You will struggle, you will get frustrated. The light bulbs, if not today, if not tomorrow... they will go off. Remain disiplined. You will be rewarded for your efforts.
