IMHO I have been quiet long enough :) I am really starting to dislike the word 'Free". Go to the mall. Everybody and their brother seems to going the day you decide to go, makes you wonder if they are giving product away for free. Highly unlikely!

But we can give Free Porn away! Every single day! It seems that webmasters have taken a real liking the word Free. Has this become your crutch, your panecia for sign ups or is it your lack of confidence in your selling skills? I would really like to know.

The overuse of the word free is subliminally conditioning all of our potential customers. Think about it. Why should I pay for porn when I can get it for free? Why should I have to pay for access when I can get free XXX passwords? I can go to so and so's site and get 4000 free pics. And the damn pics are only a click away! Not even behind and AVS door. What's up with that?

Free-hosting has its place, a learning environment, but also an environment for developing bad webmaster habits! You can bust your ass trying to get sign ups, But ya know what, **your** traffic disappears. why because its Free. Think about that one! It's sad but true.

If you have ever reviewed have you noticed that a majority of free host submissions, aside from consoles, full size pics are over (and I will be nice) 60k in size. Why? because the BW is free. :/ It doesn't matter if you lack the skills to compress images, you'll have more than enough time to complain when you cant get listed, but than again your providing some killer content for signups that will never come. Because your image quality is better than the sponsor your promoting. Why would they want to sign up with your sponsor if you're giving them super hi quality images?

Have all the accomplished webmasters given away stuff for free? I don't think so! Why would they? You cant make money from giving away free product, but you can make money giving away free samples. Samples! Not thousands of pics. My goal since deciding to become a webmaster is to prove all the nay sayers wrong. No one believed me that you can make money from selling porn. Even when they said they could get it for free. You can make money using the word free, for example; "Click here Now! For My Free Filtered Porn Links!" An example of this - YOU'RE warned, it has a never ending console - Free Links.

I have gotten a few signups from this, but nothing was FREE, no pics, no memberships, Just text links! With the time consuming endeavor we all embark on writing code, submissions, reviewing, ask yourself why would you want to condition peoples' minds to the slightest thought of getting something for free?

I am a self confirmed workaholic. It's my choice, I will be dammed if I will give anything away for free with the exception of propaganda promoting something I do. I think using Free for promoting anything other than a Free **Trial** Membership or Free Links, and you're doing the industry a grave injustice and selling yourself short!!!
