Remember to do the Triple (i.e., the Single Triple) first. That's critical. Remember to get the Single Triple certified as having been done *correctly*. That's also critical! Post the link on the board, so we can review it for you. Don't add complications to the Triple Triple until it's been completed. Keep it on a single domain, so that you can keep track of it. Otherwise it may get out of hand! The Triple Triple *should* become a major traffic source for you. Get it certified as done correctly. If you plan ahead, you can submit sites as you complete them - or, at least, submit the three sites (over a three-day period) as you complete each niche. The Triple Triple *should* become a major source of traffic for you. Did you catch that? That means submit the HELL out of it! Find the linklists. Find the niche linklists. Find the sponsor linklists. You have a Triple Triple which *should* become a major traffic source. What do you know about toplists? Can you work 'em? Now just might be the time. How would you approach something destined to be a major traffic source? Let's assume you did the Single Triple, correctly. You got all three sites submitted everywhere, right? If not, you could be doing linksite and search engine submits as you're planning out your Triple Triple. What can you do to develop your Triple Triple as a significant traffic source? THINK about this for a minute. Stop, and THINK. Your Triple Triple consists of approximately 120 pages, every one of them built by hand. 120 pages deserves a bit of planning, don't you think? Have you considered the search engine traffic you can harvest, with 120 variations on a theme? THINK about this. Plan ahead, and it will be worth it. Check through the other Newbie Projects of the Week, and you'll find some ideas you can use to make a BIG difference in juiciness of your spiderbait. Consider adding an Info Page to each of your nine sites. The three in the same niche would get similar info pages - similar but not identical. You have more chances to vary the search phrases! There's another significant traffic source: AVS. You might even want to make a second hub page which interlinks the AVS tours. The links inside the sites go back to the freesite hub, but the links on the AVS tours go to the AVS hub. Do you know how to work traffic on a hub? If you do, or you can learn, you can be getting yourself some AVS sales. Those AVS tour pages bring in search engine traffic all by themselves. Do you think AdultCheck might be high on link popularity, for example? Perhaps even up there with Tommy and the Greenguy? That means you'll want every AVS tour page to be ready for the search engines. You might want to make a copy of that site's info page available - it could be a good selling point for the AVS membership! However. The Triple Triple by itself is a challenge. Don't get wrapped up in the "add-ons" until you can handle the Triple Triple itself. The most important thing of all is to FINISH the Triple Triple, and submit the hell out of those pages you built one by one. Message # 82692 209.134.132.9 Mon Feb 17 10:11:19 2003 |
