Voltar and I both, have found it exceedingly difficult to explain why the Triple Triple Triple is so valuable. The drawback, of course, is that the Triples Project is WORK - and a lot of it. (If you're not sure of the project itself, look in our Resources area. The Triples Project is in the Past Newbie Projects section; and several essays in the Old Tom's Insights section discuss it.) Today, I ran some numbers. Consider, if you please: What is the value of a quarter million targeted search engine hits a month? How well can you convert *targeted* SE traffic? If you can convert 1:100 for that kind of traffic, for example, and make $20 profit therefrom, that works out to 20 cents per hit. A quarter million hits per month might then be valued at $50,000 per month. So, question number one is this: If you *had* a quarter million targeted SE hits into your empire, could you make money from that traffic? Think in terms of the Triple Triple Triple's structure - nearly every other click is a hand-built full page ad. How are your sales skills? Can you convert *targeted* traffic? Can you find sponsors who can convert that traffic for you? Do you suppose that, with that volume of traffic, you can find sponsors willing to *help* you figure out how to convert it? Furthermore, may I reasonably assume you understand several of the Newbie Projects of the Week? You're just a DFN, right? So, you *can* handle the basics. Each of your exit consoles *does* work as a targeted virtual hub feeder, using three of your mother hub's six toplists to turn your losers into fresh traffic. Hmmm... let's take this step by step. Consider the Triples Project. That is, the single triple. With sufficient help and advice, can you learn to build three freesites by hand, interlinking them as instructed in the assignment. The advice is here, if you're willing to do the work. Voltar and I firmly believe that once you have successfully completed the Single Triple, that you *can* complete the Triple Triple. Can you do the Triple Triple Triple? Of course not! Not, that is, until you have completed the Triple Triple. Only then will you have the necessary skill. But... you *will* then have the necessary skill. Can you then learn to feed your Mother Hub with toplist traffic, said toplists resetting in different time zones, feeding the toplists with your own exit consoles? Of course you can! And, once you realize the profit involved, you *will*! Upon completing your first Triple Triple Triple, can you incorporate the "secret instructions" aimed at making the whole thing far more profitable, far more quickly? Of course. Seriously, if you were able to generate a quarter million *targeted* SE hits a month, could you *make money* with that traffic? (What if you were working with three other DFN's who could do the same?) Will you allow me to now indulge in the boring part, and run some numbers for your consideration? Okay? Here we go... First, how many pages are in a Triple Triple Triple? The count varies slightly, depending on how the assigment is implemented. Here is *my* count: For each site, we have... - 2 gallery pages - 1 main page - 1 index page - 5 index page mirrors - 4 full page ads (1 per season) - 1 exit console for the fpa's equals 14 html pages per freesite. Times 27 freesites = 378 html pages. Each niche hub... - 4 themed fpa's from site to niche hub - 1 fpa exit console - 1 hub page - 1 hub entrance console - 1 hub exit console equals 8 pages. Times three niche hubs = 24 html pages. The mother hub... - 1 hub page - 1 hub entrance console - 1 hub exit console - 12 themed fpa's from mother hub to niche hubs - 3 exit consoles for same - 4 themed fpa's from niche hubs to mother hub - 1 fpa for same equals 23 html pages. By my count, then, a correctly done Triple Triple Triple involves 425 hand-built html pages, with every page ready for Search Engine enjoyment. Based on Voltar's experience, 5 SE hits per day per page, should be a very reasonable expectation. But, this brings up a pair of related questions: How good are you with search engines; and can you stick with a daily routine of an hour or so a day, doing the linklist and SE submits. If you get hurt for spamming the SE's or linklists, your numbers may well drop to zero. We're assuming no more than three URLs submitted per SE per day, and no more than one freesite submitted to linklists per day. Furthermore, we're assuming all submits are done by hand. Voltar is absolutely convinced - and he has the experience and numbers to back up his contention - that submitting by hand is the most effective way to get the job done. So, let's assume that you can bring in 5 SE hits per day, per page. With 425 pages, that's 2,125 targeted SE hits per day, on your FIRST Triple Triple Triple. 30 days per month brings you 63,750 targeted SE hits per month - and *that* is why the Triple Triple Triple can be so valuable. Remember that nearly every other click inside your Triple Triple Triple - I am referring to clicks coming from SE traffic as opposed to linklist traffic - is through *your* full page ad. If you went onto the market and purchased that many SE hits to run through your full page ads, how much would that cost you? Two cents a click, if you can find it, works out to $1275. Of course we hope that your results will be much higher as you study, and tweak, and improve your SE knowledge. Remember, of course, that you'll have the other traffic generators in play: six toplists, the linklists, your link popularity ratings from being listed so many places; not to mention the nature of the Triple Triple Triple's internal traffic flow. Your traffic becomes much greater and indeed self generating. I almost hesitate to mention it, but there *is* more. Let's suppose you have figured out that you're making money, and choose to do a second, third, and indeed fourth Triple Triple Triple between now and the end of this year. 63,750 targeted SE hits per month, times four, is 255,000. That's a quarter million *targeted* Search Engine hits *every* month. If you think about it, you'll realize that there *is* a snowball effect. The traffic generators are designed in from the start. Given the 4-6 months and a bit of extra time for the SE's to re-evaluate your popularity, you could well be controlling close to a million hits a day. The real question, is whether or not you can make money from that traffic. The ads, consoles, sales text, and choice of sponsors is up to you. Here is your vehicle; how well can *you* drive it? You must also note that those figures absolutely depend upon your daily submit routine. You need to be submitting url's to the SE's every day; and you need to get your beautifully hand-built, creative, freesites listed in all of the usual places. You're counting on a listing a day. Your hand-built full page ads must become juicy spider bait. Your listings, then, *should* bring you an average of 5 SE hits per day, to each page. Building 425 pages by hand does, of course, suck. Is it worth the effort? You must decide that for yourself! Can a script help your effort? Well, yes, it can... but, in my opinion, a large portion of the work must *still* be done by hand. The pictures must be chosen by hand; the various pages should be laid out by hand; niches and subniches and sponsors must be chosen. Hand-built full page ads are best, and of course the daily submit routine must be done by hand to be the most profitable. Having said that, though, yes a script *can* handle all the interlinkages, the toplists and other traffic generators, the secret instructions. It can create the trap sites with blindlinked thumbs. Indeed, it can pack four times as many pages, four times as many full page ads, into each Triple Triple Triple. Thus the above numbers jump from 63,750 targeted SE hits per month, to that same quarter million SE hits per month. (We have just described The High End Triple, and are thus looking at that additional quarter million targeted SE hits *every* month.) It's ironic, I think, that it took my writing the script, to really understand how valuable the Triple Triple Triple is. The Triple Triple Triple is a whole lot of work - is a mere couple of thousand *targeted* SE hits a day worthwhile to you? Can you convert one in a hundred? At, say, $20 each, that's $400 a day, *every* day. Every day, for months to come... is *that* worth your effort? Well... back to work for me! I have some more full page ads to tweak. :-) Message # 5816 148.78.248.10 Sat Aug 11 15:13:40 2001 |
